Is anyone planning on watching this?

I read the books and found them compelling but in a trashy kind of way Twilight meets Fifty Shades via witchcraft.

Not sure about the casting but I'm absolutely giving it a go tonight

That's quite all right. Thank you for trying. I did feel they didn't make it clear in the series but I had assumed it was oversight. Obviously they were deliberately trying to confuse me!

Just caught up on my watching. Disappointed it's finished but glad to hear the next series are commissioned.

However:

Matthew's jeans. BLUE JEANS??? No way. That's just wrong. TBH although I like the way the book has been condensed, I think it could have done with one more episode, just to give more space to develop the storyline.

Yes, enough of the informal clothes on Matthew! Good finale, I agree it seemed a very short series. Goode’s voice is wonderful, and I love the actor playing Baldwin too, he’s doing a fabulous job. I hope it was a huge hit state side, one thing the write does so well is the historical detail and the links to witch persecution on both sides of the Atlantic is fascinating.

I’m liking the ‘differences between creatures are mostly a social construct used to divide and control’ argument, I wonder whether she’ll write more about why the congregation was setup?

So is this basically going to be Outlander with vampires instead of kilts?
