Steven is a character they could have used better in my opinion. He is wasted working at the restaurant that is never even on screen anymore.

As a wheelchair user it's bugging me about the oh look a handy ramp for Jane!! If buy some miracle the council had funds they would put drop curb at end of road. Jane would have to wheel out to end of road. Cross over get back up at the Vic and go Across. Those temp ones would never be left like ypu be expected use proper ones.

They could show what real life is like!!

Phil killed jays dad?! What? I'm sure he died in the flat, not the car lot. I remember Billy the wuss hiding in the shower listening to him being killed..

I was confused about how Jase died after watching tonight's episode until I went on here and remembered he was killed by a gangster in Billy's flat. Maybe Phil encouraged Jase to take on the gangsters and feels responsible? But that doesn't explain the car lot Confused

I've started watching again since last week Grin.

Can someone please confirm that Jay was adopted by Phil and he took on the Mitchell name. I remember this because Billy wanted to adopt him but Jay chose Phil and there was a big hoohaa about it. So why is Sharon being pissy about him being given the car lot? Saying he's not Phil's son etc.

Think at time Billy was on his hard up crappy job stage, Phil was rolling on it and could give him stuff. And him Ben were friends plus he felt sorry for him. Think he half did it to get one over on Billy as he was still kicking Billy down every 5min.

Not sure why Keana is going apply for Univetsal Credit we know it takes 6 weeks at the best possible way. Plus as a just 18 y old he only be getting £50 odd quid a week. He be classed as non dependant adult
And thenher benefits could be effected as he's adult at her flat.

Err... Maybe Phil told the thugs where to find Jase, & was in the car lot when he spoke to them?! It makes no sense! Jase's death was such an iconic scene, how on earth are they going to get away with messing around with the storyline?!

Someone did die in a fire at the car lot, didn't they? They were identified, but I can't remember who it was - some random, I think. Would be a bit weird for that to turn out to be Jay's dad!

I do not recall any of this with jay and his dad, billy in the shower, none of it! I remember Jamie being beaten up by Billy, long before jay was about. When was all this? I am confused.

Hmm, it seems the car lot deceased wasn't identified but is referred to as a boy/lad. I suppose there's wiggle room to claim that Jay's mum found out she was pregnant just after the fire & told Jase that the baby was his so he would have a dad... Not sure how Phil would know about it though, especially given that he didn't recognise the photo of the dead guy from the newspaper clipping that Ben sent him in those random envelopes just before Ben killed 'Ev.

I can remember is jay and dad being in it but not for long and his mum had died not that long ago and he was trying go straight. Nothing else.

I have a feeling that the man who died in the car lot fire was a homeless person (Wikipedia concurs and calls him a boy). Jay was a young teen when Jase was killed - in the flat, with Billy hiding, as we all remember so clearly - wasn't he? Can Phil be suffering some sort of dementia?

I am so confused.... I'm pretty sure Jays dad was beaten to death by thugs on the order of Terry Bates. and it was a homeless guy that had died in the fire.

Was Jase not Jays real dad then?

Akire I think Kevin died when a pole went through him as he was In the car with Shirley. Can't remember where they were but it wasn't the car lot.
