It's all gone a bit Dexter!

CoolCarrie · 26/03/2017 21:59

Wtf Jason! Well Thandie wasn't in it for long was she?

TheHiphopopotamus · 26/03/2017 21:59

Fuuucckkk!! Is that it for Thandie Newton then?

StripyBlanket · 26/03/2017 21:59

I've never seen line of duty before so excitedly sat down to watch it tonight. Wtf indeed. Have not enjoyed it at all

CoolCarrie · 26/03/2017 22:00

Oh la la this is going to be a beauty

NotJanine · 26/03/2017 22:00

Jeez! Didn't see that coming Shock

rollonthesummer · 26/03/2017 22:00

OMG!

bookworm14 · 26/03/2017 22:00

Shitting hell that was good!

CoolCarrie · 26/03/2017 22:01

Watch the first 3 series StripyBlanket! You won't regret it

KenDoddsDadsDog · 26/03/2017 22:02

Woah !!!!!!

EsmesBees · 26/03/2017 22:03

Gosh! Well that was twisting. Thought a police forensics officer/twisted murderer (whichever Tim is) would be able to tell for sure whether someone is dead or not.

DuaneDibbley · 26/03/2017 22:03

Did she wake up?!

AlecTrevelyan006 · 26/03/2017 22:04

I don't think Tim is balaclava man

Cary2012 · 26/03/2017 22:04

Oh I bloody love this show so much! Nothing to say am just trying to absorb it all. (Hope you don't mind me joining)

KenDoddsDadsDog · 26/03/2017 22:06

I don't want Steve and Kate to fall out Confused

viques · 26/03/2017 22:08

Eeeek! feeling so smug with myself because I have managed to watch the first part of the new series in real time, not on catchup because I foolishly did not realise how good a series it was and had to binge watch the previous series. Am pleased to say that I clocked Creepy Forensic man as a wrong un the minute he stepped out of his car at Michaels house, though I realise that despite the very convincing evidence to the contrary this probably means that he is a goodie after all!

Newton is so bloody gorgeous isn't she.....

EllaHen · 26/03/2017 22:14

I've just finished that episode and have been repeating, "Nooooo, not a week, not a week."

Why does it have to be a week?

Ending was fucking good, wasn't it? I'm totally awake now though.

AlecTrevelyan006 · 26/03/2017 22:15

Imho - Tim has a balaclava because he's doing his own forensic stuff. He puts its on and goes past a place where he knows there is CCTV in order to place him (balaclava man) in the right area at the right time so that when they find DCI Huntley dead they think he did it.

Looks like his plan went wrong...

BaconAndAvocado · 26/03/2017 22:20

That was superb!

Acting, script and direction all excellent.

.........so is Thandie Newton actually alive?

pianomadness · 26/03/2017 22:21

Never seen line of duty before and watched tonight. It was epic.

I will of course at some point watch the preceding series but am I missing tons starting at this point? Is it a new story/case or carrying on from the last series?

Clawdy · 26/03/2017 22:25

Bit disappointed here. Not as realistic as last series. That ridiculous lawyer, Thandie's late night visit, the clichéd push where someone cracks their head open....Great actors but not happy with this storyline.

Way too far fetched...and I speak as someone who has loved the previous series
