I'll miss Dot. . He had such a funny run .

The driver got the bullet, and Dot hurt his head when the car crashed, but there was another guy in the back and he tried to shot Kate, but Dot took the bullet for her, redeeming himself with his dying statement.

This series has totally spoiled anything i have ever watched , it is so good.

Just popping this here for any superfans. I wish Lindsay Denton could be shoehorned in again.

It made me sad to see Lindsay's lonely grave at the end, surely the police would have had her buried in a proper marked grave. , I know she haven't got her job back, but I would have thought that the three main characters would have done something to mark her passing. She got them the proof she needed and did die doing her duty.

I was sad about Lindsey's funeral too. However, as she didn't seem to have family, presumably the funeral was arranged by the LA in which case the attendance of other people was overlooked? .

I am watching series 3 on Netflix and there is no episode 2! I'm on episode 3 wondering what the hell is going on. Anyone else have this problem?

Netflix just added S3 today I think! I got an email about it but can only see S1 and 2 on the app on my phone just now. Hopefully they'll fix the missing episode issues soon.

Yeah, it's a testament to the writing and the characters isn't it? Craig Parkinson always plays a dodgy one and so does the guy the played Fairbank. I am looking forward to series four but Dot and Lindsey will be a big miss.

Two weeks ago all I had seen was trailers for S4 and thought I wish I'd watched that. Then someone on another thread pointed me in the direction of Netflix for S1&2 and I recorded S3 on BBC3. I binge watched 3-- seasons in 4 days I thought it was back on last Sunday and wanted to watch with the thread--. I can honestly say I think it's the best thing on TV. Going to try and get DH watching on Sunday as the Denton and Dot story lines won't need to be explained. I've just been banging on about it to anyone who'll listen
