Wanted Down Under - new series

Starts on Monday 2nd Jan @ 11am (new time) each day.

DH always says, "You can tell it is the new year when this deluded escapism is on!"

I for one will have it on series record. Anyone else joining me to escape to Oz each morning?

Sorry got a phone call so now playing catch up but I do like this family they seem realistic with their dream and not making out its an endless holiday whilst having a positive outlook. Recording this episode for my daughter who spent a year in Perth back in 2015. She loved it and will enjoy pointing out places she's been. One of my very favourite photos of her is walking down the board walk from the house on the water.

I've been looking for this thread specially for this episode! She seemed like a right cow. Obviously doesn't care what he wants, they're going regardless. Although his parent situation is weird.

Not keen on her at all! Seemed very controlling. Though it can't always be easy having such an attractive, elegant, young-looking mother.

I kow it was bad that she paid for visas without consulting him but why on earth tell us that?? We didn't need to know that he didn't talk to her for weeks etc. That is very personal.

I feel so sorry for the daughter - she voted undecided but obviously didn't want to move at all. She was trying to be tactful.
