I have finally figured out what programme the sidekick in Torchwood (had to use turn-on-spray to get the girl and boy in first episode) was in.

He was absolute brilliant and was my favourite character in it.

'Bleak House' - Guppy.

Have to use matchsticks to stay up till 10.00 p.m. Jack is not as charasmatic as Christopher but hey ho ....its early days.

Diro - yes, episode 4 was the cyberman (woman) one - and the cyberman was (or had been) Lisa, Ianto's girlfriend. Owen and Gwen were hiding from her and kissed.

JackieNo · 21/11/2006 14:00

Dior, even.

Oh, and I liked the tree scene too.

JackieNo · 21/11/2006 14:12

Meant to say - to hide from the cyberman/woman they got into one of the mortuary tube things that they store the bodies in (I think that was what it was), so Gwen had to lie on top of Owen.

I'll shut up now.

Dior - And in the course of episode 4 Jack set the pterodactyl on Lisa after coating her in pterodactyl-attracting stuff and when that failed to kill her everyone (apart from Ianto) shot her. Ianto is a bit hacked off about this and made various dark and sinister veiled suggestions at the time but everyone (apart from Russell T Davies and his series story arc, methinks) seems to have forgotten those now. More of this may get referred to in subsequent episodes, so just mentioning for background.

lemonaid · 21/11/2006 14:15

Weren't they under the floor grille, Jackie?

JackieNo · 21/11/2006 14:16

Not sure - I thought it was those tube things they put the bodies in, but you could be right. Confined space, anyway.

I'm was terrified last Sunday, forced dh to sit with me as I watched it through my fingers.

I am a bit disappointed that Gwen has got together with Owen though, I preferred all the intrigue. And it did make me go 'bleurgh' [shame]

Yeah but I like the flirting between herself and Jack

Naaa.
I don't think Owen is very cute though.
It's going to get messy me thinks and I doesn't look like it's going to be one of those 'forget it ever happened' things either

Have a feeling I read somewhere that its Ianto that swings both ways as well as Jack.

bran · 21/11/2006 20:04

I wonder if Jack is going to see any real action (sexually that is) this series. He seems to be all mouth an no trousers to me, every time sex is mentioned he's all "are we only counting humans" or "if we were to count back through my exes we'd be here forever" and yet he hasn't got any further than lingering looks and suggestive remarks so far, while all around him are at it like rabbits. GET YOUR KIT OFF MAN!

AitchTwoOh · 21/11/2006 21:04

ianto and jack do get it together, folks. discreetly.

fubsy · 21/11/2006 23:45

Dont think jack does discrete! Is this true or are you just winding us up?

AitchTwoOh · 21/11/2006 23:50

it's true. wait and see...

lemonaid · 22/11/2006 07:18

Hmmm, you've been - what? - three episodes ahead of us so far, heven't you, Aitch?

So folks, keep your eyes peeled (OK, so it's probably not so 'discreet' that you'd miss it altogether) for the next three episodes...

MrsDoolittle · 22/11/2006 11:14

Oooh Aitch how do you know this?

AitchTwoOh · 22/11/2006 11:21

work stuff, mrs d.

MrsDoolittle · 22/11/2006 11:43

Fascinating

lilibet · 22/11/2006 12:33

I feel sorry for Tosh, even if she does get a rebound shag this week

MrsDoolittle · 22/11/2006 13:15

Why feel sorry for Tosh?

JackieNo · 22/11/2006 13:30

Because she so obviously fancies Owen, I think.
