I have an office move to do today, we don't have much do shouldn't be too stressful. Then I am off to the library to get my books for revision, that I have decided it us better to start post-Musketeers - but I need to be ready.

I was going to get some of the Lakeland stuff for the 50th but figured that I'd still have to make something edible. Smartie cake it is. Heavy on the smarties.

Making cakes is easy, it's keeping feral toddlers off them that's the trick.
I would like to say I don't use cake mix.

Just had to restart my laptop & it's fucking lost the many millions of windows I had open - all my fave links from about the last 1000 posts that I was flicking through every now & then to cheer myself up perve at.

Sparkle I am seriously considering using a memory stick to store them all on.

Hmmmm. On Instagram (my new best friend) they are expressing concern at the lack of Burke in Prague. But some of them are asking if it is a deliberate ploy to keep us all wondering.....

Mavis I have cakes to bake today too - one for DS2 for tomorrow, and one for my Mum for Saturday.

I made a Thomas the Tank Engine one for DS2's party at the weekend, so today's effort is just going to be a chocolate sponge - I may add smarties on the top, good idea.
Going to do Nigella's chocolate clementine cake for Mum I think, nothing in the way of decorating required except a dusting of icing sugar.

I am great at making cakes, they taste fabulous, but I am crap at decorating them, really crap

Phew. Just done another run. God only knows how I managed 13 miles last year. I must have imagined it! I am enormous though since being turned out to cake and Prosecco grass all winter as it were.
