I think this and the neighbouring houses were on homes under the hammer.

Hope they get bloody kids queuing up in the summer for ice creams, that'll teach them.

I don't like this couple and I'm glad they appear to have been massively ripped off paying a fortune for what is basically a conservatory on the back of the house.

I don't get the appeal of the timber-clad boxes they all seem to build, either. A few years and the wood looks awful. At least today it is mainly bricks.

She's finding it rather stressful and upsetting the builders now I think. It's as though they've made a list of fashionable things and ploughing through the list.

I prefer the ones where they have original ideas.

The builders don't like them at all. I can see why.

I love how most of these self builders are always way over budget yet can still pull out thousands and thousands of pounds to finish the project - how does this happen?! And £60k for glass

How do they get out to the garden? Those glass panels are huge.

No curtains or blinds again? How do they sleep in the summer?

How do they clean the skylights? Surely they get covered with leaves, bird shit and stuff people chuck on them from the park?

And what if pigeons poo on that expensive glass?
