It was lovely inside.

MousyMouse · 18/09/2013 22:02

I guess once ready a mortgage on a good house like this would be easier to get...

The pool was already there. The new house is quite close to the old bungalow. Did they say if they managed to sell it?

RedPencils · 18/09/2013 22:08

They sold it and were renting it back from them during the build.

awaynboilyurheid · 18/09/2013 22:11

Thought the painting they yaked on about was hideous looked like a dirty protest and they wasted a lot of money on it , just off to ask our mums for 55 k see what response we get

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 18/09/2013 22:14

It's in the village we are moving to! (Not sure where though...)

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 18/09/2013 23:16

I do not get the tiny door between the girls' rooms at all. Do this pair not realise that their children are going to grow up, and won't be able to use the silly little door any more?

WetAugust · 18/09/2013 23:21

The parents have to grow up first - mother ship pah!

BlueSkySunnyDay · 21/09/2013 20:38

Watching the mother ship one now, have just said to H "gosh she's orange" he thinks she looks like an oompa loompa

KatoPotato · 22/09/2013 18:01

Why did the tiny door have an eye height sharp as can be Yale lock on it??

And the knee high roof terrace off the playroom?

She can go pivot...

Davros · 22/09/2013 19:41

Going back to the one in Camden which I'm just watching, party wall agreements cannot be refused afaik but they can have conditions attached to them. So some neighbours must have taken a long time to come to an agreement. I think the site is dreadful and I wouldbe well pissed off it was behind my back garden.

BlueSkySunnyDay · 23/09/2013 09:48

I don't know I said to H, having wasteland in a town behind your house probably meant you had all sorts going on there - better to lose a bit of the garden and have a house there.

Davros · 23/09/2013 15:20

Access was behind some gates and surrounded by houses so probably not known to local scum. The neighbours should have clubbed together and bought the plot

OhYouBadBadKitten · 23/09/2013 20:19

I agree Davros, it had so much potential as a community space which is so rare in many places.

MousyMouse · 25/09/2013 21:08

another huge one tonight!
but a sensible one at last.

I am excited about this episode, a Grand Design with an actual purpose!

MousyMouse · 25/09/2013 21:18

I loved how kevin marvelled at all the prosthetics.
fascinatingly far removed from a pirate's wooden leg!

grants1000 · 25/09/2013 21:24

A baby!!!!

Noyoucantwatchpeppapig · 25/09/2013 21:25

There having a baby, is it compulsory to be pregnant?

grants1000 · 25/09/2013 21:26

Confused I hope they finish, if I were loaded I'd give them the £

OhYouBadBadKitten · 25/09/2013 21:29

I really hope they finish. Really rooting for them.

bluebump · 25/09/2013 21:30

I saw that guy Jon in my local supermarket recently. I think it must be fairly local to me as various people on my Facebook are mentioning another local that is on the programme later.

I thought the prosthetics being programmed to drive was fascinating!

grants1000 · 25/09/2013 21:55

Very nice too, poor mum looks worn out, babies and building sites, totally knack wring, been ther!

MousyMouse · 25/09/2013 21:56

not sure the about the outside, but it's well thought out and they seem very happy!

grants1000 · 25/09/2013 21:58

Kevin always looks at them like he does not believe them one bit when discussing £ and if they like it!
