So DH and I were discussing the obligatory pregnancy. He thinks that Kevin is getting his jollies with the wives, I think he's got some pheremonal power over women's ovaries.

Ummm I'm doing ivf and having a large extension done at the same time, purely because everyone on GDs gets pregnant, I hope Kevin doesn't have anything to do with it because my plan will be scuppered as he's not involved in our build :/

To be on the safe side you should probably get your gynae to wear a Kevin mask to get your womb revved up.

Just watching latest episode... Lovely couple but why are they talking about the bathroom being shared and having side by side showers because his disability makes that a 'solitary experience?'

Having a shower and a shit should be exactly that no?

I noticed this house in RL the other week, said to DH, look at that Grand Designs house, and here it is!

You only get an average 3/4 bed house in that area for a million though

I've been a GD fan since the first series, but this latest series is leaving me stone cold.

There are none of the inspirational buildings that have featured in previous series. This series is just the same formula - throw tens of thousands at sonething to end up with a glassy, timber-clad modernistic box.

Where have the Bens in woods, the castle-savers, etc gone?

Come on Kev - there must be some interesting builds being done by people whose funds are more on the scale that the ordinary person can relate too?

Last weeks was a bit interesting. I liked the Japanese elements.

Tonight it's just a building program. So far.

I loved the first episode with the old cinema, nice couple too.
I agree though, the house in the wood has got to be one of the best GD ever....

But last week's was take one old house, take the roof off, timber cald it and turn it into modernist box.

This week's is so far.

I think the odd episode here and there have been interesting but this pair tonight are arrogant tossers who are building poncily just for the sake of it. Awful.
