THANK YOU MUMSNET

NoelHeadbands · 11/09/2013 21:49

My husband also says thank you. Because I will shut up about it now

MissBartlett · 11/09/2013 21:56

Just caught up with this. I love the pool / gym basement.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 11/09/2013 22:02

Not my cup of tea, I'd feel claustrophobic and want more outside but I do admire their ability to balance his drive against the neighbours needs. Ats off to them.

MousyMouse · 11/09/2013 22:03

next week looks like an interesting couple dynamic.

I sort of liked the house in the end but that amount of money would seriously freak me out. I wouldn't have it or be able to borrow it in the first place but if I could I wouldn't sleep anymore.
The changing hair style and facial hair was interesting.

Huge Envy

I'd happily live in a car showroom if I had an ensuite and utility room.

MousyMouse · 18/09/2013 21:22

kevin looks like an authentic yorkshire farmer straight out of 'all creatures great and small' :o

These two seem reasonably sensible (well sensible for this show).

RedPencils · 18/09/2013 21:34

What's the tiny door thing for?

WetAugust · 18/09/2013 21:39

Gawd -it's turning into absolute bollox.

Just got to the usual bit where they have to borrow £55K from mummy and daddy

RedPencils · 18/09/2013 21:45

Why do they always start without having all the money?

JustMary · 18/09/2013 21:45

I think the little door is for in between the children's rooms.

WetAugust · 18/09/2013 21:47

Why do they always start without having all the money?

Because they are risk-takers. They always are. No one would start on these massive bespoke projects without being a risk-taker.

The non-risk takers buy something off Rightmove and change the kitchen!

Verycold · 18/09/2013 21:58

Wish they'd shut up about the bloody mother ship thing

MousyMouse · 18/09/2013 21:59

wow
what a stunning house.
would like to see it in 10 years with silver cladding.

We've run out of money, whinge, whinge, but as luck would have it, found the money for a rather splendid pool.
