The big Corrie thread (Spoiler Alert!)

For those of us who have no life care about Corrie and want to see it returned to its former glory.

And want answers to questions such as:

Why are Sean and Marcus moving back into Eileen's pokey house instead of getting a place of their own as other couples with two wages would do?

And does anyone else apart from me and Edith Weston remember when Corrie was on two days a week and was a high quality drama/comedy?

Slight deviation - but has anyone ever noticed that ALL the Soap babies (when heard crying upstairs) have the SAME taped cry?!!

Yes! And all the kids in Brookside used to watch the same puppet bunny rabbit programme.

How many people live in Eileens house and just where do they all sleep. I thought those houses only had two bedrooms.....

I remember Corrie only being on on Monday and Weds for half an hour!

Eileen houses about three other couples. She must sleep in the shed.

I used to LOVE Brookside - and yes to the white rabbits - I can even remember the music!

They must have very few belongings. When we lived in a two bed northern terrace it was practically bursting at the seams and there was only two of us.

I think it is on too much and I can't even remember what days/times it's on. I hate it when it's on twice on the same night with some boring half hour countryside programme in between.

Sean definitely used to sleep in the front room and as he and his chap moved out when her fireman moved in then I'd say she has two beds upstairs plus the front room as a bedroom.

The real tardis on the street is the pub. When Steve and Michelle were together, they lived with Amy, Liz, Vernon, Ryan and Michelle's real son (who has long since disappeared). And the first floor of the pub has another living room and kitchen

Oh, and Sean and Marcus have moved into Maria's two bed flat where she lives with Kirk and Liam? Even though when they moved out Jason's flat was empty

We need some answers from Corrie MNHQ!

The pub is a strange one, for years all we ever saw was the downstairs living room/kitchen. Then when Shelley and Charlie the builder lived there we used to see one bedroom upstairs. When Steve and Becky lived there suddenly a vast and spacious upstairs flat appeared. Now we're back to only ever seeing the downstairs.

Does anyone live above Dev's shop now?

I read somewhere that they are building a new set for Corrie to start in use next year, maybe they are doing it in order to iron out all these accommodation anomalies

Hang on, hasn't Jason's flat got Jason, Tommy and Tina in it?

No idea who is in Dev's flat. Presumably being kept for just Dev?

That lovely house that Sunita lived in disappeared without a trace too.

Michelle's son is a student in Glasgow but returns soon, I think I read?

Didn't Sunita's house belong to the guy she was engaged too?

Didn't Sunita leave Dev because she found out he had loads of kid with other women...what happened to them?

Yeah didn't he have a woman above each shop? Amber was one of his children from the other women. I don't know where any more are. Where is Carla's posh flat and who lives there now?

More to the point FrillyMilly, why would Carla leave her lovely posh flat to go and live above the bookies!

Didn't Carla agree to move in with Peter so that Simon wouldn't be unsettled.....not that living with two screeching alchies won't do that.

That's what I thought too Nancy. Sean and Marcus would suit her old place.

Michelle only has one son, doesn't she? I hear he's coming back as a druggie who turns Sophie Webster into Amy Winehouse. That's what two terms at Glasgow Poly does to you, apparently...

I hate what they're doing with poor little Simon. Give it 5 years and he'll be the street tearaway, full of ishoos because of his warring, whoring, alchie parents.

Dev bought the house for him and Sunita when they were expecting the twins but Sunita dumped him and kept it.

Michelle has got Ryan who turned out to not really be hers because of a hospital mix-up - then she found her real son - whose name i can't remember and was reunited with him - but now he's never mentioned.

Of course, the baby swap! Blimey, it's as if that never happened, I'd totally forgotten.

and how big is the accommodation about the rovers?
