Olivia Colman’s newly grown long grey hair

This time last year she sported her usual brunette wavy pixie cut showing
all of her face.
This week she has long crinkly shades of grey hair we are led to believe
she has grown in twelve months, embracing the grey/natural ageing.
Does anyone have an opinion on this phenomenon or believe this heavy
hanging hank of hair looks attractive, or is it perhaps a Statement.

It’ll be for an acting role I presume? She’s usually quite short haired.

I did wonder how she has managed to grow her hair so quickly. A wig maybe ? She is still irritating as fuck whichever.

Isn't she just?. I saw part of her performance in the Crown, it was cringeworthy. I don't know why she's celebrated..

But I LOVE the look. I'd love for more women to embrace aging - greying or grey hair, wrinkled skin.

The obsession with looking youthful seems shallow. The grey hair trend a few years ago was a small step forward, but still with a polished "dyed grey" sort of look. I love that OC's hair looked greying and natural. Beautiful.

I agree that the speed of her hair growth does seem remarkable considering the average rate would be 6 inches per year. I notice that she had all the hair swept over to one side probably to make it look thicker and fuller than it actually is. Maybe a few extensions?

Her hair is very similar to mine since peri. A mix of curly, wavy, frizzy, straight bits, grey bits, dark bits. Can look great with decent products and time but can be very unreliable.

I think it is a statement of some sort from Olivia rather than a role (as she could just wear a wig if the role required longer hair).

I really dislike grey hair in general. I know it's trendy to say it looks great but it's so incredibly aging. I couldn't believe she's only 52...she looks much older

It's not "trendy", it's personal preference. It's meaningless to say that she looks older than her age, what should 52 look like?
