SOTE is Discothèque Lola at Coat Check from the CB edit. On me it’s grapefruit, vanilla, coconut & woods. Hope it lasts ‘cause I’m loving this.

Edited

Ok, if anyone else has bought the CB edit, doesn’t like the Lola and would like to swap it for anything else, please let me know!

@Mackemlass79 Thank you!

Just got one on eBay. Saves me buying another edit (and I was tempted.)

Of course, any and all perfumes can be discussed on here not just fancy ones!

Yay!
I wore So...? Rio Samba body mist today. Smells very pineapple-y and coconut-y and it's delicious. Last night I put on Infatuation by The Fragrance House (got it from B&M.) That one smells like musk and vanilla and lasted all night. (I've taken to wearing perfume to bed. 😊)

I remember reading an article written by a woman who said no adult should smell like a vanilla cupcake. Why I do not understand! I have a lot of body mists that are named after various food stuffs (bought a vanilla ice cream body mist recently and it's amazing!)

CorneliaStreet · 07/03/2026 05:53

@SapphireSeptember I wear perfume to bed too and it’s usually something gourmand. I seem to find it comforting smelling baked goods as I go to sleep! My favourite is Sol de Janeiro 71, the one that smells like macadamia nuts cookies.

I love a pineapple fragrance too, though probably not at bedtime.

Lurkingshark · 08/03/2026 10:32

SOTD creed Eladrina from the CB fragrance GWP last year.

Rose at first then some floral undertone which I don’t like, possibly combined with a musky vanilla. Don’t like it. It’s a second try and I thought I liked iy last time. Sample only. Goes to show why samples are a good idea!

Doglover73 · 08/03/2026 11:31

Sotd Acqua Di Parma Blu Mediterraneo
Using up a sample. I love this. Citrus is definitely my favourite scent 😍

IDontHateRainbows · 08/03/2026 11:54

Miller Harris Scherzo. Going through a rose phase, whivh i never thought I would but im getting into it.. this is a great Rose

Tested out Vanilla Powder by Matiere Perfume. Smells like vanilla pods, very sweet and long lasting.

It is lovely. The extrait is even lovelier but ridiculous expensive unfortunately.

Any vanilla powder fans who can't afford a full bottle there's a very good dupe called immortale vanilla by Zara smells almost identical maybe not quite as strong

I wear perfume 24/7 but bedtime can be a great time to experiment or wear the not.so office friendly scents. I particularly like warm vanillary scents around this time too.

Can I join in please? I’ve been following since the last thread and have been noting down some of the perfumes I think I might like.

I’m totally over buying any more full sized bottles, only to find that while I love the scent, for some reason the perfume simply doesn’t stick or last on me - looking at you Acqua Di Parma Blu Mediterraneo.

I got a Penhaligons discovery set last week, and I purchased the Perfume Society spring box yesterday after seeing the contents on this thread the other day, looking forward to its arrival, learning a bit more about what types of perfumes I like, and expending my scent horizons!

IDontHateRainbows · 09/03/2026 11:21

matiere premiere santal austral from the extraits discovery set (tiny minis) - love this one but boy it is strong, and i'm in big (not very perfume friendly) office today so I'm hoping it fades a bit before I go in at lunchtime.

I love most of the MP extraits but not the price tag so it's the samples only for me! The radical rose is great, as I move through my rose curious phase. Also vanilla powder and crystal saffron.

Sotd Bibbi Ghost of Tom. Using up a mini. X

IDontHateRainbows · 09/03/2026 19:26

Moncler pour femme, I had a dab-on of this and couldn't sell it as I don't think it's a known brand, so have opened it for myself. It's alright but somehow occupying that middle ground between 'nothing wrong with it' and 'not amazing', I feel like I should be enjoying it more than I am if that makes sense. I guess the competition is high.

This reminds me of what Mojave Ghost could be like if it was having a bad day. It's a bit musky, a bit fruity but somehow doesn't quite hit the spot.

Black saffron Byredo 💜in the morning and flora danica turn the page ( from a scent kit) in the afternoon.

My wrist now smells marshmallowy floral

which is a new one - I know there are a few gourmandy fragrances which say they do this, but it’s never worked on me. I don’t think I could take a full on melted marshmallow smell but it’s cheery. Probably never to bevrepeated

QueefofSheena · 09/03/2026 22:23

Debaser today from the CB edit. I’ve got the roller one too but I prefer the spray. It might be a bit too green on me, even though I love the freshies

Oh, the pineapple one I wore in the daytime. I like fresh/fruity/floral scents in the daytime and heavier florals, and everything else, at night. Sometimes I switch it up a bit.

Saturday I wore So...? New York Glam in the daytime (starts off fruity and then fades into violet) and The Fragrance House Celestial (bought from B&M because the bottle is so pretty, starts of floral and fades into vanilla.)

Yesterday I wore So...? Caramel Cookies in the day (very sweet caramel and vanilla, does what it says on the tin) and Boots Sweet Musk body spray at bedtime (vanilla and musk, had it for years.)

Today I wore So...? Bobalicious and it's really nice, starts off as peach and fades into a sweet almost milky tea smell. Dunno what I'm wearing at bed time yet. 😊 I have shelves next to my bed and the middle shelf is where I keep a lot of my perfumes and body mists/sprays.

Think I've forgotten a few. Nevermind!

TheFutureIs · 10/03/2026 08:18

SOTD is Velhelm Faces of Francis. Needed a scent that feels like a hug today. Love the woodiness of this. Wouldn’t wear it in the summer but a cold day like today and it’s perfection

MotherWol · 10/03/2026 13:29

@SapphireSeptember my girls got the So…? body sprays for Christmas, and I think this is how a perfume addiction is born! They love Bobalicious, my favourite is the chocolate milkshake one - it’s a soft lactonic chocolate, very comforting!

82blue · 10/03/2026 20:29

Sirene by Fragrance du Bois today. It’s so delicious. I do prefer the scent it settles into over the initial spray as the cherry is very loud initially!

It's surely a sign of a good perfume if I keep going back and buying it - it's an oldie but a goodie, CH very good girl elixir. Cherry with bitter almond notes, this is grown up/sultry/dark cherry rather than light bright fruity cherry. Possibly my favourite/most reached for designer frag.
