To start off the new thread, I've had a headache today so been trying to avoid too much spritzing but when my head recovers I will be getting out my PDM set and possibly the oriana. I've enjoyed the collectors set I got for my birthday, and in particular the experience in the Marly store in Covent Garden. I already loved Oriana, Valaya, Valaya Exclusif and Delina exclusif but I've also discovered Delina La Rosee (more a juicy rose for summer) and Palatine (violetty). On the fence re Meliora and original Delina is ok but not half as good as the other Delinas. I've also tried Althair and Pegasus from the masculine section.

All in all a lovely set but I do think it's overpriced at £330 albeit I got some decent freebies thrown in ( 2 body creams, 2 x 5ml samples, some teeny samples and -best of all - a perfume tile with 'covent garden' on as a lovely souvenir of the day.
Worth a trip to the store in covent garden for Marly fans.

I'm not a regular poster but catch up on this thread often so posting now to help me find you all 😊.
Today I'm wearing the Fenty perfume from the recent John Lewis scent box and I'm really enjoying it. I wasn't sure if I was pretending to myself to love the Fenty; as its a 30ml I needed to like it to justify getting the box. But I really enjoy the sophisticated mix of spicy and sweet I get from it.

I went into John lewis earlier and picked up the mother's day beauty box, it's one of the better ones, has a 5ml delina exclusif, jo malone and other non perfume goodies!

Sotd is delina la rosee a fresher juicer version of delina.

Also wore some valaya exclusif earlier whi h is lovely, if a little on the heavy side. Prefer valaya

Has anyone ordered the Discoteque discovery set? I am tempted to get this to try some of them before trying the travel sized ones I have in my stash and can then sell easier if I don’t like them?

I have the discovery set @MrsBnow12 in fact I ordered a second one for travel. There are a couple I really love and have bought full sized bottles with big discounts, and a few I like enough to buy travel sizes from Vinted.

Never found a discotheque I really love although I do like the concept and the names! I have only tried 3 to be fair. lola was the best but didn't make it into 'love' category.

My dear fellow perfumistas, what shall I spritz tonight? I'm tempted by Dries Van Noten - chamomile satin which is a lovely lavendar vanilla. I also like Rock the Myrhh from that range. Really recommend this house for anyone wanting to widen their horizons, they are innovative whilst still smelling of quality which many houses don't quite manage to do.

I love All Night Until First Light, Call For A Good Time and Baise Moi On The Dancefloor. I quite like Lola and Cowboys

SOTD is amouage purpose. I veer between absolutely loving this and thinking meh. Loving it today but it's strong and distinctive so not one I would reach for very regularly I don't tihnk.

My CB discovery set arrived, for the money can't go wrong with this one. SOT Evening have been BTSO dirty milk, a rich lactonic with burnt caramel vibes, like it but wouldn't want to get more. Also tried is Nest creme de clementine now this I do like. As the name suggests its a creamy citrus. I can find citrus scents too sharp so a nice bit of vanilla to calm it down is very welcome. For someone who's not really into orange scents this is lovely.

SOTD is Naxos Xerjoff. Wanted something to make me feel powerful for the year 11 assembly I’m leading today

I’m going away Thursday and was hoping to take my CB edit with me but it’s only just been dispatched so it seems unlikely. I’ll have to take some of my many minis instead

Tried pomelo from the CB edit, not for me! I dont tend to get on with sharp citrus and this has reminded me why.

Then put TF Fig erotique on to make me feel a bit better.

I am not tempted with cult beauty edit. 14 euro spend on perfumes this year and unless amazing kit I am sorting for 0 in March. Splurge in April while in Lanzarote

Well done @MiaN I’m on a low buy but it’s tricky! Recent perfume gifts hsvr not interested me, but I’m looking at 10ml of things on my long list.

@TheFutureIs that is a powerful one! I couldn’t deal with 1 spray and sold mine, but I know people rate the blending.

@IDontHateRainbows i absolutely fell in love with the Dries a while back. But they are so expensive snd the magpie in me wants the beautiful full bottle not the travel. So I can’t love it that much.

Got asked what do I smell like in the dentist today. Velvet Aura, first time in few months. Such a shame it's limited edition and gone already!

I rarely want full bottles, not when there's a travel size option (this wasn't the case with Fig Erotique plus it was my birthday hence why I bought a FB), so that goes in my favour at least. I'd be remortgaging the house if I wanted the full bottles every time!

SOTE is afternoon delight by Replica. I love the smell of this but it's SOOOO fleeting. I literally have to respray after half an hour. It's one of my favourite gourmands, it is sweet and it should be sickly sweet but somehow isn't.

Tempted by the CB edit but I think Debaser and Nest would be the only ones I’d really want to keep, so will pass. @IDontHateRainbows I’m typically not a citrus fan either but that does sound appealing!

SOTD Venenium, wondering if I’ll finish up any of my cosy spicy frags before I switch over to green and fresh ones for spring.

The NEST is a tiny sample so don't buy it just for that. The best of the bunch fir ke ( i already have debaser) is commodity juice. I haven't tried the fugazzi Orange one, nor the escentric mandarin.

Its basically a box for orange lovers!

Any discount codes on the CB box? A friend is a fan of the orange molecules so they might like this one as a present. I might swipe the Lola one. ..

They seem to have clamped down on the discount codes, the ones on the other thread are no longer working. I managed to get £5 off each box with points at least.

SOTD is Byredo Alto Astral. Beautiful scent that goes particularly well with a fine spring morning. Coconut vibes but more coconut water than standard coconut. Then a clean, aldehydic aspect. This has been described as a light gourmand, for me it's more gourmand on the level of a cool ice lolly or slice of fruit on a hot day. This will become a favourite summer scent I'm sure.
