Evening all,

None of the clothes added to the sale were of interest - I'm still waiting for a dress from the last sale to reappear.

I bought the Poterie Barbotine Pouring Bowl - I've been wavering over getting this for a while and the sales reduction has just tipped the balance. I have a few of the breakfast bowls in the same glaze and love using them.

I haven’t received an email confirmation of my huge order of this afternoon. Has anyone else experienced this?

The order is showing on my account, though.

@IlovePond I made an order yesterday afternoon, although only for a few bits, it’s already been dispatched.

@Theteapotsbrokenspout - that’s quick! My first sale order was the same. I am getting a bit concerned now as I still haven’t had a confirmation email, (never mind a despatch note🙀)

@AmethystMoonShineI too ordered 2 kantha gowns and the red one was fabulous. The blue one was more purple than blue so will be going back.

I’m very sad but the navy hand embroidered kantha jacket is also being returned. It is beautiful but too tight on my shoulders/upper arms.

Oh that gives me hope @Zeusrules , Royal Mail tells me they are due today, so fingers crossed.

@IlovePond I shall post some photos, it's been helpful seeing phots of others with them too.

@ScottishMouse have you popped through your order yet? I ordered bits yesterday with the new items added and on Reworn (standard delivery), and they will be here tomorrow. Seems quick, if that timeline is useful at all.

Ah rats @CakeAndJazz i paid for express as I was worried it wouldn’t arrive in time. And now it looks like it will arrive after yours! It’s all a gamble isn’t it? Is there new reworn things, I might have to take a look!

I have already got the Raised Stripe Nightdress but I might dye this one -test on a tiny pocket snip first!

Some new items were uploaded yesterday @ScottishMouse and I think there’s still quite a bit on, have a look. I think express was best, as my orders arriving tomorrow are unusually speedy.

Ordered at 6pmish yesterday and both orders have been dispatched already.

My quest for cream culottes might be over, found a beautiful Toast, linen/ cotton tailored pair, french seams,lined, on a reselling site yesterday -fingers crossed these are the ones!

@Poplinskirt - I rang CS today and they ‘resent’ the confirmation email. Their words - not mine. They tried telling me it had gone in my junk mail, (but of course I had checked that first!)

It’s not the first time this has happened- obviously a glitch their end. Also - no sign of despatch, (unlike my first orders last Tuesday, which were processed the same day). I am wondering if I will get all my order as it was all ‘newly added’ or restocked returns and is now OOS again.

I missed that striped cotton nightie from your order - it looks lovely!

They are absolutely lovely
I run very hot at night and the weight/ shape is perfect

I am loving the Toast expertise on this thread!

Does anyone know if they are likely to add anything else to the sale? I have been holding out for one of their half-sleeve wool/cashmere jumpers, as I would really prefer not to pay full price, but there is surprisingly little knitwear there.

My successful sale purchases have been a Franca dress in green gingham (fits the same as the navy one, which I also have) and a collarless garment-dyed navy shirt that I'll wear mainly as a jacket. A lovely neat fit (XXS for size 6-8) and bracelet sleeves which are perfect for my short arms (I'm 5ft 2).

Well the two red Kantha gowns have arrived. One likely a keeper (right), the other not as it’s too near to a fuschia punk for my colouring (left).
Still no confirmation email for my black crinkle trousers ordered yesterday. I suspect they were out of stock when I ordered. A later order has already been confirmed 😕

It appears my photo is being reviewed?!
Anyway, after actually trying on, I take it all back. The one I thought I didn’t like is nicer on 😂
The one I thought I liked has a lot of white/taupe and bright orange which I don’t like.
Trying on is so important 😆

@notwavingbutdrowning1 I bought the green gingham Franca dress in the last sale and love it , looks elegant or casual depending on shoes etc
It was recommended on here which prompted me to try it!

@AmethystMoonShine - thanks for the photos. I slightly prefer the one you didn't originally like but now like more - I think will be a better option for wearing both indoors and outside.

Not really Toast related, but…..I have a big birthday in a few days and have been given some money to buy myself “something memorable”. I have no idea what to buy. It is not tonnes of money, but enough to buy something nice (in Toast terms about enough for 1.5-2 full price items). Clothes are not memorable though, especially at the rate I seem to grow out of them these days (thanks menopause!). I wondered about a nice piece of jewellery, but I tend to wear the same few simple items every day. I wondered about a nice leather bag, but I know I would probably revert to my trusty uniqlo bag that the world and his wife has. So I am stumped and would like your ideas please. I’m not stumped because I have everything, I just don’t tend to buy much for myself apart from clothes so don’t know where to begin. I am very tempted to buy new sets of nice towels as we need some, or put it towards some new garden furniture as ours is on its last legs, but those are neither memorable nor just for me. I have never heard the end of the time my folks gave my money for Christmas about 25 years ago and I bought a hoover!

@ScottishMouse if you want new towels or garden furniture then you do you! We inherited my granny’s teak steamers and they are definitely memorable. It’s your birthday so I would go with whatever you’d like, not what you maybe think you ‘should’ get. I really love Hannah batstone elegant jewellery if you do go that route. I hope you have a wonderful celebration and enjoy whatever you choose xx

Thanks @MiracleToast. I had an online browse of some towels this morning and I wasn’t really feeling it, so I am going to think about what might be a bit more special.

@ScottishMouse how about something from the Toast home section? I know they don’t sell towels as such, but (I haven’t looked) is there something there that’s just a bit extra special??
Failing that, how about a tattoo?? 😆

I must say that I am considering my first tattoo (at the age of 50 something) as it’s something I have wanted to do since a teenager, but something I have always been too scared of. I am building up to it, now that I have found a special reason to!

@ScottishMouse - what about something other than furniture for the garden? A water feature and/or bird bath/bird feeder?

Or a pair of nice earrings with the rest going towards your garden furniture- maybe buy a decent parasol with the remainder.
