Thanks @Primrosespaw I love the sound of your outfit! Think I’ll take a punt on it.

My trug and giant hat arrived. In a large box with no padding. I absolutely love the trug but look at how the material has split on this side. I’m wondering if this could have been a quality control issue before sending out or if it happened in transit. I truly cannot be bothered reordering but concerned it might split. Has anyone else got this?

It looks super flimsy @MiracleToast - and that damage is awful! I really hope you are sending it back!

Even in the sale it’s pricy for what it is, and customers should expect one in perfect condition.

Ideally they would send a replacement free of charge or at least let you keep that one with a full refund 🤞

@MiracleToast when I had a damaged bowl, they sent me a new one free of charge and didn't ask me to return the damaged one.
It must depend who answers the queries.

Also when I had some faulty shoes I had replies from two different cs agents with two different solutions .

@Theteapotsbrokenspout they’ve just contacted me again saying I don’t need to send it back and are refunding me. I think probably I got a stock answer last night and a much kinder reply this morning. I’m going to keep an eye out to see if another one comes in stock but it’s sold out right now. Thanks for encouraging me to email as it was the right thing to do, sometimes life is overwhelming enough and these things seem too much!

My kantha coat/gown has arrived. Greens, apparently. Ummm, well on the positive side it fits well and is beautifully soft. I’d expected it to be much stiffer, given the potential ‘coat’ vibe. To me it screams ‘dressing gown’. I would definitely wear it inside the house for lounging around, but definitely not on the street. Not wild about either side. It certainly isn’t the green shades I would have chosen, but I suppose that’s the luck of the draw when you purchase blind. I’ll post pics of both sides for your perusal

@Sunnydaysarehereonceagain - you know if you ask customer services on their chat thing, they can send you a selection of pics of which ones they have. I did that once and it was much better than just getting the one they picked blind off the shelf

I saw a tall, thin woman wearing one at an airport once and she looked so cool. At 5’4” and no longer skinny 😿 I am unsure I could carry one off outside and I really can’t have any more Toast dressing gowns🙀

On a related note: One of my biggest shopping regrets is seeing a Kantha long gown at the Ukraine pop up for £40 and thinking, ‘Nah!’ 🙈

My XS Washi dresses arrived and one has a pleasing pattern arrangement but I think I'm going to send both back as its an OK dress not a wow dress.
I know that sometimes OK is fine but I'm not 100% feeling it and I've just sold the last of my previous OK sale buys with no wish to buy then sell without wearing again

Might go back in for another peak 😉

Has anyone bought this dress and thinks the tie part is in the wrong place?I compared to my navy tunic which looks like the one online (I think) . Would think I was imagining it wasn’t right as I had a smaller size and it was the same.

I intend to keep it and it can be tied as it is but it ties to my right hip . I think it could be altered by my dressmaker but interested if anyone else has noticed this. The tie in the wrong place comes from the panel at the back on the same side as the other .

How are you all finding dispatch times with regular post at the moment? I’m not anting to order some Vibae sandals but am going away mid next week so wondering whether I should pay for express post. If they were posted RM 48 tomorrow I would get them in time, but not sure whether to risk it.

If anyone does have it and it looks like the picture could you confirm which panel the left hand tie is on? Thanks

@ScottishMouse i don’t think I would risk ordering standard on a Friday as I think dispatch can be slow over the weekend. It won’t even reach the PO tomorrow. Things seem to be collected by RM the evening of the day they’re ordered.

Just seen a few new things added. Can’t see much but I did order one of the brown vests and a pair of the crinkle black trousers that came back into stock in my size. I’m keeping the smaller sized oat crinkle shirt and it’s styled with the trousers, so I thought I’d try them.
I’m waiting for my two red Kantha gowns to arrive tomorrow. I thought I’d increase my chances of liking one! I’ve wanted one for years so really hoping I love one. After the caramel padded gown looked so draining on me and the indigo one wasn’t a good fit, I’m hoping this might be my warmer gown that I’m after.
