I’d put money on tomorrow evening for the sale. The last few years the fading summer sale has started on a Thursday evening.
And I was told in store the next drop would be Oct 2nd, so next Thursday.

@CakeAndJazz - about the sale week. You're right, I've just re-read. Apologies for misinformation! So perhaps tomorrow?

I'm trying to work out my autumn clothes - I always feel a bit confused when the seasons change until I've got my head round it all. Does anyone else find themselves ordering things they already have way too many of (like jumpers)?

I was looking at the Toast current offering and was surprised to see only one Orla donegal jumper. Don't they usually have quite a few different colours?

Maybe someone here will find the magic portal earlier? <hopeful> 😃

@CakeAndJazz - maybe- would make sense.

There used to be a winter and a summer Kindred gift, but that seems to have gone out of the window! I remember the bowl, but I could have sworn there was a gift in January but perhaps I am imagining it.

I have had:

enamel bowl
bandanna - excellent gift
woven basket - also excellent
socks - very good

I think that’s it, as I only got Kindred a couple of years ago. (I keep thinking I have missed one out, but again, maybe I am imagining it!)

@MiracleToast I’ve used the mending service a few times and love it. A jumper, a skirt and a dress have been mended. And even better I take them into my local TOAST and they post to Bath where it is fixed. And then they call to say come and pick it up. Takes a while though, around 4-5 weeks.

I was at work when I saw the email about Reworn. Always like to have a look, saw 2 dresses I liked, one was a lovely thick green linen dress and the other a denim pinafore but alas, I was at work until 8:30 and by the time I got home, they were both gone.

IlovePond I’ve had a metal / tin mug as a kindred gift too I think within last couple of years . Might this be the forgotten one ?

Thanks @Gonegrey31 - that was just before I reached the dizzy heights of Kindred. I bought one myself as I was feeling left out 😹

There was a nasturtium print too, but lose track of time so maybe a bit ago and a lovely Christmas string .

@faustina - I remember that one - very divided opinions on here about it! That was definitely given out with a purchase but I think it was available to everyone.

I could swear I have had another gift, though - so thanks for having a think!

Was it one of those black clay pots??? Or a little ceramic thingy?

I got a tiny ceramic pot free at a Kindred event and also black clay candle holder, (which I promptly dropped!)

However, I think I have another one of the tiny snack dishes knocking around somewhere- if so, it would be a Kindred gift.

Given the very nice Reworn things in 6/8 xs/ s I think they are the modelled garments from photo shoots and the larger are from the circle/ swap leftovers .
Some of the things are very good for the price, virtually brand new - I think a lot of it is snapped up and then appears on Reselling sites.

Now I actually like the woven basket/bowl @Poplinskirt - I keep a plant in it!

My DSis got the garland and the furoshiki cloths - both before my Kindred membership.

I really disliked that Circus print!

I think you're right @ScottishMouse and you've got me excited, even though I think I won't want anything! There's no early access for Kindred for these 3 day sales is there, as far as I recall; I'd forgotten that.

I don’t think there is @OrangeyLemon. I’ll be keeping an eye out from about 5, though i not sure there is much I want, and weight fluctuations these days means I shouldn’t buy out of season because by next summer I might just end up having to sell anything I buy now. Homeware and accessories though….

I think the sale might be today. I just tried to look at the website and 'fading summer sale' came up VERY briefly!

From the tiny glance I got it started with t shirts and this summer's very thin linen large black and white check culottes. Everything was still listed at full price.

I think it said 211 items.

Lots of Christmas decorations have appeared in Home.

Thanks @faustina. Quite a lot of older stuff at good prices. I took a punt on a couple of vests, a couple of pinafores, a pair of crinkle cotton trousers, and the chambray lounge shorts.

Thanks @faustina I've ordered trousers, tee and hat (one of each) and I’m dithering over a backpack.

Unfortunately the sale appears only on the UK part of the site - none in the EU part yet. Bummer...

I've ordered some trousers (quite a few pairs!) - will only keep one though. Yes, some of the older things are quite well priced

I've ordered a few bits to try, a slate vest that I have in Brown that I know fits well. A pair of PJs that I have in another colour that I know I like. A fan for my daughter, who was eyeing mine up in the hot weather this year and the plimsoles in black - although from the feedback the sizing appears to be all over the place so not hopeful for those.

@Stravaig - forgot to tag you earlier. Hope you can see it this time!

@AmethystMoonShine I ordered two pairs of the same trousers in different sizes and now they have a little pop up message suggesting I look at their true fit thing which is quite funny considering how inaccurate they can be
