Am I the only person without a bracelet stack?!

I’m so crap at jewellery. Necklaces annoy me, I only wear wedding/engagement/eternity rings - they are tiny and probably some would scoff at the stone size, but anything big on me looks daft.

would really like to build a decent bracelet stack that doesn’t look like cheapo costume stuff…

any tips?

Nah I cannot stand anything on my wrists. No watch. No braclets. They give me the ick

WhyamIinahandcartandwherearewegoing · 06/05/2025 13:37

@SauvignonBlancLady I can just about handle my Apple Watch. Functional, no frippery 😂

Oooo god no. Tried a friends on to see if I could cope but absolutely not 🤣🤣

I do have diagnosed ADHD though and also refuse to wear socks so… 🤣

lalalalalady · 06/05/2025 13:45

Following as I would love a bracelet stack that doesn’t break the bank but equally doesn’t look cheap.

bge · 06/05/2025 13:49

I also loathe the feeling of anything on my wrists. Even have to push my sleeves up always

WhyamIinahandcartandwherearewegoing · 06/05/2025 13:51

@bge I get what you mean! Just feeling a bit Plain Jane 😂

No to bracelet stacks here. I know one woman who does this, but she's obsessed with those glow bead things whereas I think they are hideous...

The only other bracelet stacks I see are on girls under 14.

WhyamIinahandcartandwherearewegoing · 06/05/2025 13:52

@PaintDecisions I see them everywhere! Defo not glow ones…

Not for me, I do wear an Apple Watch but jangly bracelets are the things of nightmares

WhyamIinahandcartandwherearewegoing · 06/05/2025 13:55

I’m not bothered about those expensive van cleef jobs and reckon most of what you see on people is fake turkey tat

but I do quite like the look of Tilly Sveass stuff? Don’t know if it would annoy me though 😂

this could be a gateway one…😝

Coeur de Lion do some wonderful bracelets that look great when paired with a gold bangle.

not keen on those I’m afraid - that’s giving me the glow beads vibe @PaintDecisions hates 😂

I have a bracelet stack ( not a very big one, maybe 3 at a time) and I do think they add to certain outfits, I just started with one piece that I liked and bought others over time to compliment that, I have a couple of neat gold plated ones from Pandora, they were individually between 100 -150 each I think

Also hate bracelets (and rings), have ADHD and hate socks 😂

So no OP, I don't wear a bracelet stack. I wear one set of earrings if I remember, and that's it.

FastFood · 06/05/2025 14:00

It looks very good on photos, but not super convenient in real life.
I have a stack on my left wrist, but nothing on the right (my dominant hand) because it gets in the way all the time. Like typing on a keyboard.

My bracelets come from Hey Harper, as do my chunky rings. They's waterproof so I never take them off (I do with the rings though, couldn't sleep with them!)

AdoraBell · 06/05/2025 14:02

No. I don’t wear stacked bracelets. I do like the look but having more than one irritates me. So I just wear a watch on one wrist and a bangle on the other wrist.

PlatinumBrunette · 06/05/2025 14:27

I have/had a bracelet stack. Love jewellery. I used to add to it when I needed a reward or dopamine hit. Some real jewellery, some Astrid & Myu when I went into town.

However, I took them all off a couple of months ago in order to get a tattoo - which was cancelled at the last moment.

Now I can't be bothered to put them all on again because putting bracelets on one-handed is almost impossible 😁

My wrist feels lighter, and naked, but also I'm quite enjoying the lightness.

Ruthietuthie · 06/05/2025 14:39

I have bracelets that I wear everyday. Each one is filled with meaning or was a gift, so I didn't set out to get a stack. I really love them as, when I look down, they remind me of the times I received them.
For example, I have this Tiffany bean bracelet from my husband, and this bracelet www.tiffany.com/jewelry/bracelets/paloma-picasso-loving-heart-bracelet-GRP08532/ that was a Mother's Day gift from my son.
I also have an evil eye bracelet that my husband bought overseas. And, at the moment, a red thread bracelet with beads that say "I love you" in Morse code, which my son made for me.
I wear all that on one wrist, every single day, sometimes adding this tennis bracelet. or this blue Van Cleef bracelet. These are my everyday bracelets, all bracelets, none are bangles, so I find them comfortable and they don't jangle. The only one I take off to shower is the Van Cleef as I worry that the stone is delicate.
For a necklace, I wear this diamonds by the yard necklace. Again, no need to take it off for showering, and it is so light I forget I am wearing it. Again, it was a gift from my husband, so reminds me of his love for me. It goes with any outfit, I think.
For evenings, I have the Tiffany Bone Cuffs in silver.

I would start small but with something that has deep meaning to you.

Chewbecca · 06/05/2025 14:40

I don't but I do admire the wrists of those who do! Monica Vinader style.

loropianalover · 06/05/2025 14:45

I’ve also been doing some philosophising about bracelet stacks recently. 🤣

I have some nice jewelery but I don’t wear any day to day. I have one Van Cleef bracelet but I don’t feel it’s right to wear to work. I have some nice pieces from jewellers and some from Monica Vinader, Missoma.. I only put them on at weekends or if going somewhere in the evening.

But lately I feel a bit bare at work.. I don’t love the feeling of necklaces so was thinking a watch, a thin gold band and one or two small colourful or pearl bracelets. I’ve also been seeing a lot of hand chains online recently, I love the look of them but think you have to get them in actual gold and really delicate otherwise they look a bit childish. So I’ll be on the lookout for a decent price on that…

I’ve been loving Anni Lu style bracelets, I have a few I’d bring on holidays etc.. the thin ones would work well in a stack I think.

zero chance I would spend that kind of money on bracelets, that's just crazy to me.

This stack business is just another gimmick.
Ear ring stack bracelet stack.
Doubtless we will have nose stacks finger stacks and toe stacks.
Fools and their money are easily parted.

ShapedLikeAPastry · 06/05/2025 15:42

I have a bracelet stack but it's made up of stuff I already had (a gold bangle that was my mum's and another, wider gold bangle that used to belong to my grandmother, a turquoise enamel bangle and a gold chain bracelet).

I think it looks good and have had many compliments but I don't wear it everyday as I don't like it when typing!
