@ScottishMouse Just seen your Birkenstock question ; I like the Arizona style and have had many pairs , the latest these Sale blue ones.
The only ones I’d wear for a long walk would be those with a heel strap which are fantastic but I’m not sure they still sell them.
I had no clue that footbeds come in hard and soft but that may explain why my newish Boston clogs feel so unforgiving on bare feet !

If anyone sees the Steve Mono ankle strap shoes in black size 39 please give me a nudge !

I love that navy coat dress @Countmeout. I tried it on early in the season, but it was not a good shape on me. I think I would have worn it as a coat though, as you say, it’s quite heavy and stiff and I wouldn’t love that for a dress.

Just love that we’re sharing sale buys good and bad, and the details really help.
Anyone else thinking they’ve shopped a different sale? So may items mentioned just don’t remember seeing, so I have to check them out ….

@Countmeout Ibought that orange ecru top in the last sale and love it for the soft snug comfort and the extra long sleeve length.

Im enjoying the stripey sundress so long as I don’t t have my glasses on to see knobbly shoulders and scrawny arms !
This time sort of weather in trendy London I’m feeling jealous of younger self , though when we’re in France it doesn’t bother me at all.

Garment linen dress in stone—I put on immediately when it arrived yesterday and have been wearing since. It’s just right for this warm weather. Bit of a sleeve, perfect relaxed fit and long enough. I bought in a small but I am usually a medium in the new sizing tops however the reviews mentioned sizing down. Was worried the stone would be too grey but it’s a very lovely pebble and looks I think good with tanned skin. It wasn’t hugely discounted in the sale so still expensive but I’m really happy with it. Has anyone else got this in any colour way?

@MiracleToast i love that linen dress, but I am very pale with pinkish tones and it did not work for me. When my 15yo dd (who does not hold back!) saw it, she said I looked like I had escaped from an asylum! After that comment I had to return it, but I still looked at it this sale and wondered if I should try again.

@MiracleToast - I returned the red version today as colour didn't suit but then bought the navy one (this season) instead - as I loved the shape so much. It's going to be really versatile.

@DoubtfulCat - I had a mini jeans cull and just sold them on Vinted! Sorry! They didn't seem to work for me - maybe too high waisted? But they went into the 'not for me after all pile'. Hope you have better luck if you decide to go for them
