@NotaMumYet9323 I feel this too! Although once the late spring / summer is here, I’m happy to embrace it.

I have a full on job and love coming home to make food and put the TV on / read in the evenings with no pressure to go out. And September to December is my favourite term.

We have a touch of snow. Definitely a jumper day.

Sale has got rather boring, if they follow their usual pattern of Tuesdays and Thursday for drops we’ll have to wait until next week.

Mainly Christmas decorations for me in the sale. I’ve kept the Japanese Slim Denim trousers so far and a few pairs of the cashmere striped socks.
I’ve had some trousers arrive but not had a chance for a proper try on. I can’t recall the name but thick cotton, pleat front in colours sand and mocha brown. Think land girl vibe. Still £115 in sale but £235 full price so I’m expecting great things.
Off for a mooch around Woodbridge today where they have a Uniform Research so might pop in for a browse.

Thank you @IlovePond . I am dithering over the crinkle blank and olive checked skirt. I really like it but I’m struggling to style it and not sure how well it will work going into spring as the colours lean towards autumn / winter. I don’t want to return it but it’s pricey to keep if I won’t get much wear out of it.

The postman delivered my parcel this morning! The red patterned bandana is lovely and was half price, still expensive but very wearable. I have a denim dress and a knitted skater skirt dress it will work very well with. I’d been determined to get a Botanical Shadow Print top since last August - I bought a Gudrun Sjoden knitted skirt in anticipation to go with it. It meets all expectations and is very flattering. Toast sizing it’s still huge on me though. I’m usually a good size 14 but I bought this in Small and it fits perfectly. I’m officially spent out now as I treated myself to some Penelope Childers boots too, the ankle tassel ones, but never say never.

Yesterday I watched Revenge Rider, starring Serinda Swan, Pollyanna McIntosh, and Jake Lockett, about an all-female biker gang who get deathly revenge on a group of perverts.

The acting from all the cast, + the stunts and special effects, etc., were fantastic! Don't watch if you don't like a string of f-bombs, blood and gore, but it teaches men not to mess with a group of lady bikers!

What's driving me mad today is that it's taking me forever to post this and look through other posts because again the internet is on a death roll! It keeps coming up as wait and not responding!

@Snowyowl78 did you go for the mohair round cardigan in the end? I dithered over reordering one (my original one had buttonhole issues and I never replaced it) too long, and now it is oos in my size. Wondering whether I should stalk the website for a return or just forget it. Convince me either way if you have bought it…

Thank you for this heads up. The hat I wanted had been added. It's still very expensive for a hat, but I've got my refund from my Christmas Eve order coming!

@MsDastardley thank you for the notice. I bought the cotton silk organza skirt that I’d been loving the look of. Even though I thought it possibly too fragile for my life. I have rethought that and decided that if it went in the sale I could give it a go and just wear it to death anyway. So I got way too thrilled to see it in the sale. Now I must stop.
anyone else get something new in the added stock?
@ScottishMouse I think if I were you I’d keep looking for restock on that cardigan, especially if you liked it on. A little stitch is easy to do and a sale price makes it easier to swallow. I liked that cardigan and would have been tempted but I’d just bought a lovely toast loose cardigan from the fb sale group so that desire for a snuggly cardigan was filled.

I bought the Deco Geo pyjama bottoms which I have coveted as a piece of loungewear and a sweater.

I’ve ordered the velvet skirt and dress. Fingers crossed this will be a more successful order!

Done well for socks though. Wearing the cashmere blend stripe socks today, very comfortable

I dithered for a moment over two dresses I tried earlier in the season, but then remembered what I said here only a few days ago and removed them from my basket. I have bought another longpi trivet (bought one before Christmas and it is great). I was hoping for the matching spoon rest but that seems to be sold out. Also ordered a full price cardigan my mum wanted to make sure I didn’t have to pay for delivery of the trivet.

They’re doing that annoying thing of adding things still. The cord dress I wanted has just been added.

I am delighted that the Space Dyed skirt and the gathered neck silk shirt in gold have made it to the sale and are now (well, hopefully soon) winging their way to me. I also ordered the silk organza skirt in olive and the silk print cassis dress. So, almost everything I had on my wish list came into the sale, some of it not keepers but some definitely so.

One of my wishlist items (wool cashmere roll neck) has been added so ordered it - some Guernsey socks & merino gloves have 'accidentally' been included in the order.

Oh that is annoying @Countmeout I also like that cotton silk organza skirt but reviews say it is long and l cannot be bothered taking it up. Also love the silk tie neck shirt, I tried this earlier in the season. But I can’t get over the dry clean only element.
And just to give you even more to think about…when I was doing a return in store a few days ago, they said there was a new drop coming next Thursday!!

I wonder whether there will be any returns before the sale ends, everything is taking so long.....

@ScottishMouse I see now that the “check in store stock” is working again. Maybe it was a sign of the new sale that it didn’t work earlier. I had looked at trying on a skirt in store and a few days ago it showed it was in the Edin store, now it’s in the sale and then of course no longer showing in store.

It seems unlikely, doesn’t it @Theteapotsbrokenspout. I just had to go through my emails to check how many parcels I am still waiting for, and what is in them! 3 parcels, as it turns out.

Do we think anything that is going to be a new addition to the sale has been taken out of the shops now? I don’t want to buy something only to see it appear in the sale in a week’s time!
