Linen dress in stone, trug for garden and five year old straw hat for me! 😂

This is the first time I have been shocked to receive an email invite without any prior sleuthing! A happy little surprise this evening. Hope everyone found something joyful.

My seed pod dress was there, finally! I’m also giving the Catrin blouse a go though not sure I can wear white. I want those Fracap Postman shoes, but do I need them?! Plus I have an appointment with a kitchen designer at the weekend. Maybe if I send the dress and blouse back and they still have my size.. This sale should be longer than 3 days shouldn’t it?

I think this is the ‘main’ summer sale @OrangeyLemon but last year - both in the winter and summer sales - Toast didn’t add any extra stock during the life of the sale like they usually/used to.

If this is it for the summer sale, (and I do suspect they are not going to add anything else), then it’s very poor. Up to Xmas 23, we were getting sales twice a year containing 900+ women’s items and 150+ homeware, etc. This year, I was in the sale well before 6pm and there were ‘only’ 421 items on offer.

I guess this might be because Toast are getting better at managing their stock, so there isn’t much ‘left over’ at the end of a season. If so, I suppose that’s better for them and the environment, but I do miss those brilliant bumper sales of yesteryear.

No sign of a June sample sale at KC, (unlike last year), either!

I love that seed pod dress @OrangeyLemon - I saw someone trying it on in store a while back and it looked so nice!

Also the Iku check trousers, these completely passed me by before

I have a parcel coming tomorrow with the Indigo Baya shirt , the ecru pleated long shorts and 2 nightdresses

Will have to be firm about what I keep.

I'm really hopeful for the knee length shorts, as a non knee exposer I love the style and am delighted they are back "in"
I recently bought several pairs elsewhere and they are great for cycling in

I’ve just gone back in and ordered the Troentorp clogs in a smaller size. They probably won’t be long enough but 🤞

Ooh, which are the knee length shorts @Poplinskirt ? I could do with a pair of those myself.

Sale came at the right time, I can’t get to my Summer clothes because they’re mostly in France and we can’t go there this Summer.
Ordered :
Blue Birkenstocks ( not crazy about them would prefer neutral but need Summer house shoes I can slip in and out of )
Green stripy Sundress ( swore no more sleeveless but need something cool)
Olive crinkle sleeveless dress
Steve Mono black flat ankle straps ( had my eye on them)
Cathrin white shirt

Hectic day - I got caught out by the sale as well, I didn’t see the email until after 8.
I've bought both the vests from this season - indigo twill side tie, and the Tilia Honey quilted wrap vest that I tried when it first came out out but couldn’t make work, so I’ve sized down to see if it’s any better. Also some socks (again!), and the Propagator green pull on trousers.
I'm also disappointed at the small selection of homeware.

After reading the other thread about the woman who bought classic shorts to go on holiday and saw herself in the pictures looking like a scout leader I'm a bit worried 😅

@Carocurls - it will go ‘live’ to everyone either Wednesday or Thursday. I’m thinking probably late on Wednesday if Toast stick to their ‘usual’ policy of letting Kindred members into the sale a day early.

Can I ask you early access people are any of the trainers on a discount?

None of the Novestas have made it into the sale.

It’s Flower Mountain that I had my eye on but sounds like I’ll need to stretch my feet.

I am very happy with my order- the side tie indigo vest I have been really hankering after and was pleased to find it in the sale. I’ve also ordered the cotton twill pull on trousers, the green poplin shirt and the Anja green blouse and the hemp dungarees. I really wanted these in size 14 but most sizes have sold out so took a punt on the 18 hoping I can get them taken in.
I won’t keep most of it but I always use PayPal credit so I don’t have to pay upfront and will return things quickly so I only end up paying for what I keep.

I ordered the wave tank top, a night dress (after the nightwear chat) , hemp cotton trousers - might be too big in the waist, the Catrin cotton easy blouse in chambray and Fracap lina sandals.

For those who can’t yet access the Sale - try putting sale into the Search Box. This brings up all of Toast’s inventory, but if you then select Low to High via the Sort menu you should start seeing the sale stuff.

I put something in my basket to try and it took me to Checkout at the sale price. I can’t guarantee that would work for everyone, but worth a try.

Well this sale snuck up on me...normally I'm stalking the Toast website for ways in before we get the email!

I've ordered loads (most of which will probably go back) because I only had a few minutes from seeing the email to having to go to work. So I just kind of ordered anything I liked the look of!

I've ordered:
The seed pod shorts and top as PJs
The darted trousers in both colours in a smaller size than the ones I have. I love these but have them in a 12, which is really too big as they are cut very generously.
The hemp cotton canvas trousers in my eternal search for the perfect navy/indigo trousers
The tessellated cardigan in navy - think I will either love or hate this!
A kantha gown
Crinkle cotton easy shirt
Brushed cotton linen herringbone trousers and top - look like good lounging clothes?
Another pair of the Dobby stick trousers as I absolutely love the ones I picked up in the last sale and want a spare! They are so cosy and comfy for evenings on the sofa.
I liked a few of the sandals but haven't bothered ordering as the reviews all say too narrow or small and I have very wide feet!

I may take another peek this evening....

Also agree the homeware is rubbish in this sale. Although if anyone is thinking about one of the little fans - I have one and recommend. Very compact and give good waft!

I’ve gone back in and ordered two dresses, both of which are sleeveless despite me never wearing sleeveless things - the check cotton linen cross back dress (bit worried the back will be too low and show my bra - anyone have this?), and the vneck black crinkle dress (though I wonder about its usefulness seeing as I am thinking about warm weather and no sleeves, the crinkle fabric is pretty heavy).
