With just under 3 months to go until 1 December, there are some big decisions to be made! Thread to discuss advent calendars while we wait for more content revelations and release dates.

My liberty one is arriving today. I have all the good intentions of putting it in a cupboard 😄

I've gone for Bay Beauty, not the most exciting but all of it is stuff I will use and there are a few products in it I've been keen to try so for me it seems the best value one. It does seem a lot of products have now cycled and see the same cropping up in different advents, I did have a clear out and check of the products I have currently to see if had enough room/need for new stuff :D

I've got the Liberty one I've secreted it away!
Currently looking for 13DD I got her the body shop one last year which she likes and my mil got her the Revolution one. She's crafty though and has just said she'd rather have 24 balls of wool!!

Is there any discounts that work on the Sephora pre order does anyone know?

It used to be that if you add Sephora as one of your favourite brands on the website you would get a discount on the calendar. Not sure if that's still the case?

Not sure of your price point but Crochet Society have an advent if she crochets. I have had one in the past and you get other bits along with the yarn and pattern.

I like the range of product types in the eSPA. It’s £175, purported value £488 . I’m not familiar with the brand, was given a full size tub of their detox mask last winter and loved it though. For serious purchase, my maybes are the Bamford bath and body and the eSPA skin. Both a range of things I’ll use throughout the year.

I probably won’t buy it because there’s loads of other things I’d choose to buy before it, but I am very interested in the Vogue release. Someone mentioned hindsight being less hype than at the time, and I was looking at last year’s calendar’s contents and thought the same. At the time it was the value of the Foreo LED, an item I’d use, that made me think it was worth it, but a poster here shared that it was an end of line item the brand were probably looking to clear. Everything else was quite small or brands I wasn’t interested in like Cle de Peau.

I think I want to go for Vogue this year since it has non-beauty luxury products. I'm at the point where the main advents have lots of products I currently own or have already tried. But I still want something!

I also want to buy kits/edits and GWPs throughout 2025 so Vogue makes them easier to justify (this is my logic and I stand by it!)

*I'm excluding my Harrods fragrance advent in my head as who knows what will happen there!

At the moment, it's the Next luxury and John Lewis.
Probably sneak in the M and S if it's as low in cost as it was last year.

Always need to spend a bit at M and S on snuggly sock, stocking fillers etc......that's how I justify it anyway 😀

No, I think it looks truly crap. Have you seen the sizes? They're claiming 18 full sizes but I'm not sure how. A mini hairbrush?! One Slip scrunchie. A 75g Neom candle! Neom fgs, it's hardly a luxury brand, you'd think HN could stretch to a full size. Ditto the 8.5ml of Escentric Molecules, I'd expect 30ml. Space NK looks much better IMO.

If it's the Le Labo you're interested in (and you like perfumes in general) you could get the HN fragrance calendar plus 15ml Le Labo for less than the HN beauty calendar.

Still can’t decide between Space NK and CB. If CB had the full list of products it would help, even the unboxing videos don’t show all the products - does anyone know of anywhere where I can find out what’s in all 25 drawers please?!

Not to mention there will generally be deals on me labo in Nov!

@DontBiteTheCat Cult Beauty have been email bombing me every day with their sneak peaks with a countdown to tomorrow which I assume will be the big reveal. I think there will be two versions one with more perfume than the other . Up to now I haven’t been super impressed with the sneak peaks but it will be good to finally get a full reveal . I think SpaceNk looks amazing value
