I love the sale. I tend to buy the sensible, stuff at full price which then literally gets worn out as it moves from work/event to weekend to garden. Just got a navy V neck top that will absolutely follow that path.
But the sale is for glorious things that I never knew existed but have a sneaky way of ending up in my mainstream wardrobe. Who knew I'd love a knitted tank top at 50, can a bias cut Bryn dress go to the supermarket if I chuck a Japanese denim work wear jacket over it.
I do feel exhausted by the choices so I'm secretly pleased the sales happen rarely rather than a permanent section.
I just need to stop purchasing the same dress, in the same size in the hope that one of us has changed since the last sale.
