@Niminy , I don’t have that dress so can’t help, although I have other iterations and so find they come up quite long, so you may need to have it taken up. As the bottom half is fairly straight, this would probably work.
I have been going through my sales purchases to see what is going back. I had chanced the tie dye cotton skirt in vibrant blue in a 10 as the reviews said that there was very little difference between sizes. However, the 10 was very much a 10 and wouldn’t zip up on me so is going back and i will be keeping my eyes peeled for a 12. The patch pocket poplin dress in sunshine yellow is a hit and was worn today. I have the blue one from a couple of years ago which I paid full price for and love now easy it is to wear. I had a woman stop me in the street to declare it “gorgeous’ today. I also brought some bedding and a patchwork quilt which, of course, are keepers.
My second order was full of stuff for my DH: shorts in different sizes and a couple of tee shirts. All but one of the tees is going back. I bought the cotton boy tee in lemon for me, trying a medium and a large. There isn’t much difference in the two and I have the navy in a medium but I think I will stick with the large in the lemon as I like how it looks around the bust more. The cotton utility jacket is hung up until the 10 shows up and I compare them.
Of course I ended up throwing another couple of things into the order when I sent for the second utility jacket: the garment dyed denim skirt in artichoke as I seem to be wearing a lot more skirts these days, and the garment dyed denim shirt in woad. I bought my husband a vintage French workwear shirt in a similar colour when I was in Hastings recently, and I am thinking of this one as a jacket in autumnal weather as opposed to a shirt.
Hopefully that is my sales shopping down, unless they throw in a few more event pieces if they extend the sale at all. There does seem to be a lot of very old stock in the sale. I know Toast always does this but it does clog up the pages when you are looking at the point that the sale launches.
