No sale so far this week… looking back it started on a Tuesday the last few years, so maybe next week?

I just can’t bring myself to buy summer clothes as we’re not leaving the UK this summer and it’s so cold here. I was wearing a big merino cardigan yesterday. Sunshine helps my mood too, I’m craving some brighter days.

Looks like there’s a live as well today @AmethystMoonShine , so I assume no sale yet.

Oh I'd not spotted that @Theteapotsbrokenspout. I'll try to watch that if I get a minute. No, I agree unlikely to launch a sale at the same time.

Well I can't see any sign of a sale today ....perhaps next Thursday???

I think they’re solely focussed on their Brooklyn opening at the moment. Noted the Live was from Brooklyn- it wasn’t very inspiring!

Very dull live.

My waistcoat is here. I sized up. Twice . Bigger one posted back this morning . One size up was right otherwise bust would gap. Also enables me to wear over things, pleased with that.

No idea about sale .

Those poor women at the Brooklyn live looked really uncomfortable about doing it - felt a bit sorry for them!

Agree that the live was very dull.

Just coming on to recommend the knitted gilet. I have worn it every single day since I got it. Am considering the other colour too. For me, it works better than some of the other tank/gilet styles in recent seasons.

I also wore my blue check crinkle dress yesterday and love it. It seems bigger on the bust and upper arms than I usually find this style to be, which is excellent for me.

I'm so pleased I went for it, it's really lovely.
I'm 5' 4'' and it's long on me, but very dramatic, long clean lines, which I like.

aww so glad you like it. I really love mine. Its probably my most worn item tbh. It just so nice to be able to put a variety of tops under it. Its also great for all seasons [ Well here in Scotland] I had it on to work with a bright cerise top under it. I've also had a few compliments.

Glad it’s not just me that found the live a bit dull. Yes, I agree @faustina there was definitely an air of discomfort and awkwardness!
I am getting wear from older Toast clothes at the moment as it’s so chilly and wet. I’m not going near my summer dresses sadly.
I might even go through to see if I’ve anything to sell. My wardrobe is too full but not with things I am wearing!
….still hoping for a sale next week 🤞🏼

Just caught up with the live - yes, very disappointing. I didn’t feel it made the best of the clothes, and certainly didn’t make me one to buy anything.

I was ordering a couple of trying on shirts for my partner (men's dept. but wow the material on seersucker check short sleeved is beautiful) and I ordered the crazy expensive kettle Bonny hat just to seeee it and feel it's material (something about that picture drew me in.)
I have a thing for the touch of certain fabrics (and textures in general) and oh my word the hat is amazing. You can sculpt the brim to sit any way you like, and it sits on the cap of your head rather than coming right down (in a good way). It'll have to go back with one unwanted shirt but I'm finding myself thinking if I sell enough old unwanted clothes on Vinted can I own such a hat?

@Firsolya I have seen the trailer but didn't spot the Toast clothing!! Will have to go back and re-watch it!

@hicat that's what I do if I find something stupidly expensive but very much desired, I'm straight in the wardrobe and putting it on eBay!!

Spent £160 at the TOAST sample sale at Kilver yesterday- could have spent more! - came home and put a few bits on Vinted and have made £73!

@mizu That sounds like a great sale, love to know what you bought; as I’m in Europe for a while I can’t buy anything Toast so am enjoying hearing what everyone else is finding .

I almost fell asleep watching the Brooklyn live, and agree that it did nothing for the clothes.
It seems that Toast are pushing the concept store idea too much , rafts of straw, homespun bags and studio pottery , and now so many of the clothes are
almost Little House on the Prairie fancy dress .
I’m treasuring the Summer linen and cotton things from last year and hoping 2025 will be a return to form.

@mizu ooh what did you buy from Kilver Court? Was it a good sale?

@Snowyowl78 @OftenOrange it was fun. I took my eldest DD back from uni with me as she quite likes the odd TOAST item too!

Bought these 3 in pic. The light orange dress was well spotted by DD as it is current season . The linen dropped waist yellow green check dress was a great find too as it's on my wanted list. Both £65. And the jumper was £30!!!

She dithered but eventually bought an olive green tired poplin dress with buttons up one side.

Initial bun fight but calmed down after a bit.

Very nice @mizu! sounds like you found some bargains and had a good day out!
