Good morning all, no sale yet :(

I purchased one of the new items, the lavender Mulmul shirt. The price is slightly crazy but it is a lovely shirt, pretty much a 12 in the medium so not coming up big as previous iterations had.

I also bought the linen waistcoat but I think it is going back as it doesn’t look particularly special on me, not like in the Toast photos.

The hand stitched cotton jacket came back into stock in a 12 and I had an alert on so I bought it but, having looked again at the photos, I wonder if it is going to be too big and bulky on me. I will report back: it has certainly been very popular, sold out in all sizes now.

I am enjoying reading about all of your purchases, Toast and other brands too, and how you are styling them. I have had a big clear out of Toast on our Facebook page and other brands on Vinted, but there is definitely more to come and I still have too many clothes that I am not wearing. The lack of a summer isn’t helping with the wearing of some of the lovely sleeveless toast dresses that I have acquired over the years.

I have to agree @ToastCosILoveIt the weather is really useless for dresses. It’s raining off and on here again.

I love my waistcoat. I haven’t had it off the last few days. It has useful little pockets too.

@Countmeout , ah, the waistcoat looks lovely on you. I haven’t sent it back yet. Maybe I should have another think….

That mulmul shirt is exactly what I am looking for @ToastCosILoveIt apart from the colour. Lovely on someone else, but not for me. I wish they would do it in another colour. The fabric feels so beautiful.

@Countmeout the waistcoat looks great! @ToastCosILoveIt I do really love mine as well. Though sometimes not having that feeling of sth special means I would send something back too. Maybe it'll come down^ in the sale and you can reconsider its specialness hehe^

@Countmeout that looks really good, very versatile too. I hadn't really taken notice of it before, but I can see so many uses for it !

I feel the same as you @ToastCosILoveIt. I was convinced it would work for me but there’s something about it that makes me want to send it back. I think it’s probably the colour, it’s too cream for my colouring. Lovely shape though.

That’s right, it is the cream colour, it washes my complexion out. I did try it on on its own though, liked your photo @Countmeout of it styled over something.

In other news I wore my favourite ever fracap sandals today: love them so much. I also wore a rarely worn Toast dress from last autumn. DH declared it his favourite dress of mine when he saw it this evening and someone stopped me in the street to admire it. Who knew, I should have been wearing it all year (only third outing for it). I will try to upload a picture of the dress but it it the triangle patterned one with a tie front and lime green in it.

@ToastCosILoveIt omg I tried on that dress a while back and didn't get it.

I saw a woman in the supermarket in it a couple of weeks ago and it looks so great on her that I had to tell her 😊 Then saw in the sample sale on Friday and still didn't get it!

@ToastCosILoveIt@mizu I love that dress too, and had planned to get it but the shape didn’t suit my straight up and down body.

Said dress is a winner: the tie allows you to pull it in or let it out according to your figure.

In the spirit of thinking about old things, while clearing out my clothes, I have come across a few things that I haven’t worn much but I am not prepared to part with. Falling into this category is what I call the honeycomb dress, a wonderful orange pattern and a great style of dress (a very early version of the Bryn dress, slightly more fitted and tailored). Here is a photo of the lovely print.

I am still on a clear out mission though, some more sales coming the facebook way shortly :)

@OftenOrange , so pleased to find another fan of these Fracap Lina sandals. Have you tried the brick version? I ordered them when they first came out but sent them back because they felt much stiffer and less desirable than the olive ones. I now wonder if I was a bit hasty and may go back and revisit them in a shop.

@ToastCosILoveIt I much prefer our darker Linas, the brick ones look more busy somehow . Remember the honeycomb dress , it’s a Toast classic and of course 🧡

@ToastCosILoveIt I have also had my eye on that dress, but never managed a try on. Did you take your usual Toast dress size? I might give it a go if it comes on sale again. Also, I wanted to message to say I found a linen gingham apron on a resale sight, and I absolutely love it, have worn it whilst cooking but also whilst eating every day since I got it.
