Old fashioned things you wish would come back

I was just thinking about how much more convenient shopping would be if it became the norm to use a wheelie bag again (commonly used by very old ladies nowadays). Carrying milk and other heavy things in Bags for Life isn't great.

I also think the sun umbrellas would make walking in the sun much more comfortable.

It should be a faux pas to wear black / coloured bras under light tops. I hate it but my young adult DDs says that’s old fashioned.

Why are people embarrassed by wheelie trolleys in the street, but will pull a plastic one round LIDL without thinking about it? Humans are weird. Perhaps they are associated with poverty as pps have said.
