I took it to a hotel @LemonJuiceFromConcentrate and felt so guilty at the mess that I spent an hour making sure not a single (bloody persistent) coffee ground remained in the shower.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 05/03/2023 18:04

I loved the tomato candle, but I thought I was in a minority! Some perfumes have it in too.

MrSheepy · 08/03/2023 16:02

I’ve just realised Liberty is on both Quidco and KidStart cashback sites. Didn’t notice this before.

Kranke · 08/03/2023 16:21

I have two of the gift sets (free when you spend £175), as had a bit of splurge recently. I definitely don’t need two of everything and thinking of selling on Vinted or EBay. Would it be better to split or sell all as one?

Zoetrope1 · 08/03/2023 16:37

@Kranke i think you’ll probably make more if you sell the products individually

At least at a hotel it will be cleaned before the next member of the public uses it… I won’t detail my first thoughts when walking into the gym shower and seeing streaks of brown granules down the tiled walls!

wheresmyshoe · 08/03/2023 22:51

I can imagine @BakeOffRewatch I've never seen such a messy product. It also stuck to my body and got EVERYWHERE....

Kranke · 09/03/2023 09:44

@Zoetrope1 thanks, I was thinking it would be less hassle to offer as a whole on Vinted or a local Whatapp group, but individually may be better as I can keep the things I do like.

Most people won’t want all the products. I quite often buy on eBay or Vinted for exactly that reason.

RedCarsGoFaster · 09/03/2023 11:05

I've used coffee body scrubs on and off for years, but never had an issue cleaning up the shower afterwards? It's easy enough just to rinse it all down?

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 09/03/2023 11:18

I mean, yes I know how to rinse it away but it spreads around so much and looks so bad if left (not to mention staining) that you have to be quite meticulous, scrutinising the disaster zone and rinsing rogue grains out of corners.

That is a slight pain in the arse. It’s not the mindset I especially want to be in when doing something that’s meant to be a little bit indulgent and relaxing.

Just easier overall to use a scrub that doesn’t make a mess.

(I also really hate the faux-cheeky, chummy, “saucy” packaging of the Frank brand but that’s a separate issue)

Depends how much you were selling it for. People probably only want 1-2 of the items.

LoveLabradors · 09/03/2023 13:48

Anyone else used things from the gorgeous kit from last month? I’m loving the Herlum candle, whilst a small size it has a lovely scent and throw. The dizziak body moisturiser is fab, leaves a lovely gleam to the skin. Too nice to use this time of year under tights and long sleeves so going to save rest of it for the summer. Impressed by it as a brand so far, I had the deep hair conditioner in a different kit a couple of years ago and it was great. I also really like the dermologica night cream too.

WhenisitmyturntobePM · 09/03/2023 13:57

I really like the dizziak, happy with the Berlin candle but find it a bit more perfume rather than aromatherapy. The little hot water bottle is great for discreet period pain relief. Wash bag lovely. Looking forward to trying the rest soon.

Zoetrope1 · 09/03/2023 15:10

I’ve only used the hot water bottle so far, which I absolutely adore. Still working my way through my advent calendar goodies!

SweetSakura · 09/03/2023 15:25

I really like the dizziak, and love the candle and bath oil and hot water bottle. I haven't tried the face products yet as my skin had a big flare up when I started some new medicinest.
The kit came at just the right time for me as I've had a big flare up of my illness so been pretty house bound and having some indulgent bits around makes staying at home a bit less miserable!

Zoetrope1 · 09/03/2023 15:26

Ohhh forgot I’ve also tried the bath oil - it’s really nice!

MabelStark · 09/03/2023 18:41

Sadly I'm still waiting for my 'relax' kit! I've contacted customer services today. Although I don't know what they can do about it as the package seems to be stuck in St Helens since the 23rd Feb!

Definitely sell as individual items. List on both eBay and Vinted but remember to remove the listing from one platform as it sells on the other platform.
Expect to make about 30% at the most of RRP after fees and postage. Some items don't sell but most do. On Vinted you're likely to get lower offers so if you expect to get £15 for an item, you'd probably be offered £10. Trial and error but at least you'll make a little bit of money.
I've just finished selling all my unwanted items from various kits. I had an embarrassingly big collection accumulated over the last couple of years. Glad they're out of the way, someone else can enjoy them and I recouped some of my spending.

wheresmymojo · 11/03/2023 09:32

Placemarking to await the April box!

Have £40 credit at the moment - I am eyeing up Westman Atelier contour stick but part of me wants to just keep saving and then wait for another 'free box when you spend £175' event as I really liked the look of the last one...

Reinventinganna · 11/03/2023 09:42

Place marking!

Lysianthus · 11/03/2023 11:38

Does anyone know if I sign up now, will I get April's box? Tia.

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 11/03/2023 11:45

I signed up at the end of December and got the January box so I'd say yes

Lysianthus · 11/03/2023 12:02

Thanks @kenyaswhiterefrigerator

Can I ask the Liberty ladies, which Venn cream (or serum?) is mentioned so often and highly praised? I think it started from the advent calendar but I'm not sure.
It's supposed to be magic but I have no idea what it actually does?
In my head it is linked to the Liberty beauty threads.
I've seen a vitamin B cream and an age-reversing serum and then I stopped looking as they have a few products. The more I search, the more I wonder if I'm looking at the wrong product.
