I've caught the ear piercing bug and can't decide what to get done next. I currently have 3 lobe on my left and 4 lobe and tragus done on my right. Looking for inspiration.
Please show me your beautiful ears ☺️

Hello!
Here is mine.
First photo is before I got my forward helix.
I got the two rook piercings at the same time which wasn't a great idea as one ended up popping out, as you can see in second photo

Swiftbushome · 21/02/2023 15:20

This looks lovely!! How was the daith piercing? Did it hurt? Did it take long to heal?

OP posts:
anxiouslemon · 21/02/2023 16:13

Daith didn't hurt at all!
Took a good few months to heal, I'd say 8 months til it was 100%. I'd often get lumps on it, very annoying! But now it's healed it's my fave Grin

NowYouListenToMeFella · 21/02/2023 20:23

Here's mine. Have only just had the rook and mid helix done in the last few weeks. Love the daith and would like to get that done at some point. What are you planning on Swiftbushome?

Ooh that looks lovely 😍 I think I want a daith to go with the tragus and then eventually when that's healed enough so I can sleep on it I'd like to get maybe an outer conch or a mid helix on the other ear so that I can wear a hoop. Did the new ones hurt? They look to be healing really well.

@anxiouslemon LOVE your jewellery 😍

Here are mine. Forward helix and conch had just been done hence the redness.

LOVE this! Can't help but notice you did both ears at once though. How do you sleep?

I really love those dagger huggies especially. Can I ask.where they're from please?

Use a travel pillow, one of the ones with a hole in the middle!

NowYouListenToMeFella · 21/02/2023 21:29

Loving the pics. They all look fab. Getting some ideas for the other ear. The rook was really sore getting it done, there may have been a tear in my eye. It's been fine since. The mid helix keeps getting caught in my hair and I forgot about it in the shower one day and thought I surely had ripped it out.

FunnyCradock · 21/02/2023 22:34

Pics aren’t great but you get the gist. Most recent additions are the double forward helix. Also have a tragus, anti-tragus & helix. The other ear has a conch, flat, and faux rook (and triple lobe)

I sleep on a mono pillow. It has a hole in the middle and you can wash the cover. Pricey but worth it!

Ah these look lovely too. I really can't believe I've waited so long to start getting piercings done! I've wanted more than lobes for YEARS but been too scared. Honestly I'm not sure why I was so squeamish. I have tattoos and really wasn't worried getting any of those done but now I've had my first cartilage done I want MORE!! 😆
I think my fear might have been from friends who got their belly buttons done when we were teens and quite a few got infections. Yuck.
So what should I do next? In my left ear I have triple lobes, and in the right I have triple lobe, one sort of higher on the lobe (don't know what you call that bit) and the tragus. Ideas welcome.

I was advised by against having my daith done as mine is an unusual shape. I ignored advice and it hurt like hell. Very fiddly. I can’t change the jewellery myself either and need to have it done in a studio. It took over a year to heal.

However, I love it and I think it looks great.

Im thinking of having my flat done next.

Triple lobe both sides
Top of ear with a normal earring on left side (about 25 years old 😂)
helix, daith and tragus on the right.

also had my nipple done last week which I love!

FunkyMonks · 22/02/2023 14:58

Recently had conch and helix done fingers crossed they heal.

I've had tragus done three times and has never healed for me always ended up with irritation bumps same with forward helix.
Use to have my upper helix done and my nipple done both had healed beautifully had had my helix since I was 11(back in the day they did it with piercing guns at hairdressers 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️) but stupidly at the age of 26 decided to take them out wish I never had.

I've got my septum pierced had that done last April and love it so much great now it's healed and I can change jewellery when ever I want.

Currently want to get my rook done next.
Would love Daith but my ears aren't suitable for it not much there to be able to pierce it.

I have my lobes pierced 3 times but hardly wear any studs in the lobes so every now and then end up pushing jewellery back in when I fancy wearing it in my lobes.

Swiftbushome · 22/02/2023 16:11

@Thisisnotmyname2022 can we see a pic of your right ear with all the piercings? I'd love to see if you're happy to share?
@FunkyMonks that's annoying about your tragus not healing. Will you get the rook done on the same ear as your conch and helix?
Stupid question but I was told I should wait 8 weeks after having the last piercings before I get any more. Anyone know why? When I asked I was just told that's standard advice 🤷

Thisisnotmyname2022 · 22/02/2023 16:13

Yes no problem, I don’t have all my lobes in at the min but I’ll put some in later and share a pic.

FunkyMonks · 22/02/2023 16:42

I'm not sure to be honest about the waiting thing I was going to get it on the other side I've also got one of those pillows with a hole to allow me to sleep.
It would have been 6 weeks since getting my conch and helix done.

SnaccidentsHappen · 22/02/2023 19:35

I am getting my lobes done again this weekend. I would also like something else but not sure what it where.

When I was younger I had my lobes done 4 times, my helix, my tongue and belly button.

Only one I still had until about 6 years ago was my first lobes.

Tragus took about a year to heal, my helix has been in since oct and think it will also take a while to heal.

Swiftbushome · 22/02/2023 20:29

Lovely placement and i really love your lobe earrings. Everyone keeps saying that tragus takes a year. That's a pain! I was really hoping I'd be done in 3 months or so. Maybe not 😬
How long before you slept on it if you don't mind me asking?

Thisisnotmyname2022 · 22/02/2023 20:56

Sorry I know I’ve not done my pic, my tragus was the easiest of ear piercings. The whole process was pretty simple x

terroir · 22/02/2023 21:15

Here's mine - a horrible addiction! They're a mix of white and rose gold, and have taken me several years to build up. Really recommend Pillow with a Hole to save them from getting sore thepillowwithahole.co.uk

Where do you go to get pierced? ? I’ve seen upmarket piercers on instagram but they are ££££! My local piercers only look like they do the classic metal piercings and I fancy the gold - I guess I’m after an in between place!
sorry to hijack op! These all look great!

Thisisnotmyname2022 · 22/02/2023 21:22

@ArseMenagerie I use a reputable tattoo studio in my area, or a jewellers in the next town who are also well established and reputable.

notanoxfordcomma · 22/02/2023 21:31

@AreolaGrande I'd love to know where those earrings are from too please!! Love them!

creamcheeseandlox · 23/02/2023 18:45

I really want a daith piercing or tragus but does it affect wearing in ear earphones? I have two lobes and a flat at the moment. Want to get a third lobe and possibly a new one elsewhere
