Quality Street + Coronation = Road to Coronation Street

I could absolutely murder a Quality Street now though. While also being genuinely impressed by Max’s ability to look stylish while channeling a toffee penny 😂

Watching a documentary on Mary of Teck this week what an extraordinary woman. Her dedication to duty was a mantle her grand daughter took on. They said she was a great influence on young Elizabeth. She also had the sweetest smile that I recognised at once.

She was very intelligent and intuitive a great asset that Victoria recognised in the young woman.

Elizabeth Bowes Lyon never came across to me as an intellectual, but rather a loving mother who fitted in well.
