The (undoubtedly Chanel) leather jacket on Charlotte is a look. And I hope that's a shadow and not a maple leaf motif on her trousers!

I have to say being a Monaco royal seems the most fun - one endless line of parties, premieres, Grand Prix and other gala events.

Various royals have also worn some nice leather jackets, which is a look I do like (depending on teh jacket) - I think Mary has a very nice one, I’ll hunt fr a picture.

Leather is a bit unforgiving though. I really liked this dress on Sophie, but the next time she wore it she was a bit bigger and it didn’t look as good.

I think it does need to be softened up so that you don't look like a roady for a heavy metal band. Soft and coloured leathers can look good.

Letizia wears biker jackets a lot, which I think veers a bit casual (I wear one myself! But not to work, and I’m not a Queen 😀).

Yes there’s nothing worse than leather stretched to look like sausage casing!

And that’s absolutely not a dig or diss at bigger or more voluptuous bodies - it’s just that most people don’t size up when they need to! If they did it’d look much better even if not supermodel gorgeous/glam.

The constant reaching to compare her (or Meghan) to Diana. It's ludicrous.

It looks like a red version of the dress she wore when she left the hospital after William was born!

It sort of does - already checked it, but the collar is very different - very small instead of oversized.

However it does look quite similar to one of the dresses Kate wore to bring one of the babies home.

I'm always taken about by how 'droopy' Diana's clothing was in the early 80's. I know it was the fashion of that time but it looks far worse on some of those photos.
