I really like Maria Theresa's dress. I was googling trying to find the designer, without success. I did come across a couple of videos of her speaking English, with an accent that is very familiar to me living in Florida. It's American with a slight Cuban lilt. No surprise there as she grew up in New York from the age of three.

Watched a fascinating documentary on Camilla last night I had recorded on channel 5. This weekend am recording a documentary on Grace Kelly. What happened to her ££millions. She went into the marriage a very rich woman. Hmmmm

Camilla to wear the Queen Mary crown at the coronation than commission her own crown as per tradition.

That purple gown is fabulous! The sash contrasts well with it.

I'm afraid I'm a voice of dissent on the purple gown. It reminds me of The Purple One in a box of Quality Street. Too purple, too shiny, too patterned.

Grace Kelly paid a huge dowry of two million dollars when she married into the Grimaldi family, using much of her own fortune.
At the time of her death she wasn't spectacularly wealthy, only owning one property, a cottage in Ireland.

Grace’s personal wealth was minuscule compared to the family’s! It would’ve just been absorbed into the family wealth.

I’m with @AdaColeman on the gown. The colour is nice. Other than that it’s a miss for me. Would’ve been a lot nicer had it been less shiny and unpatterned, IMO. Possibly would have worked had one or the other element been patterned. But not all of it together. Too much! However, I’m being picky know - she clearly loves it and felt good enough in it to choose to wear it!

Speaking of Quality Street, CPV seems to have found a dress in the exact shade of green as the Green Triangle! Glad to see her in footwear that is not stilettos.

Char and Albert have been at a charity gala. I quite like what I can see of her dress but less so the black coat she's wearing over it. Albert also looks very informal in comparison?

Albert looks like he got lost on the way to a regatta!

I like Victoria's dress! And the colour of Charlene's dress is lovely. Wish she hadn't worn the coat over it.

Oh I love Charlene's coat and dress ensemble, both by Swiss brand Akris, Charlene often wears pieces from this brand.
I love the colour of the dress, and the fall of the skirt fabric and the gorgeous lace overlay, a snip at just over six grand! Très élégant Charlene!

The coat is fine in and of itself, I just want to see more of the dress!

Not convinced by that dress on CPV - it's a bit anyhow, if anyone else says that. A bit.... meh.

I think it's CPV's standard uniform - patterned day dress in warm weather, pantsuit when it's colder, hair pulled back into a bun.

Maybe she wears her hair down off-duty so that she isn't so immediately recognisable.

Yeh… no. Not keen on any of them. I’m with @Maireas on the fabulous cut and length of the dress, but my first thoughts were also of the big purple one, like @MotherofPearl.

One of those days when I should probably be doing something more useful than looking for pictures of Royals dressed in Quality Street colours. 😂

@justasking111 I think the coffee crème is one of those that has been sadly discontinued. The purple one is just about the only edible one left imo.
