www.toa.st/products/cotton-oxford-long-shirt-chambray
not sure if that’s the one you mean. Defo too long for me.
mizu · 14/01/2023 16:16
@Countmeout I love that red striped top. Sometimes they go onto ebay and always sell at a good price.
@lordloveadog the Levellers are still going!!!!!!
neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2023 16:16
Marking this thread. It goes quick when there is a sale!
faustina · 14/01/2023 16:16
@Countmeout - thanks for the thread and the shirt info - tht is the one I was thinking of
@Noodle421
- thank you - you've saved me a pointless order/return process
@Noeggsontoast
Innoui Editions is amazing! Have you ordered since Brexit though? There's no info at all on their website
Countmeout · 14/01/2023 16:19
Would the kaftan dress not work in sort of weather that is not high summer with bare legs ? The sort of weather where you feel you might need a cardigan but not tights.
Countmeout · 14/01/2023 16:20
Thanks @mizu . I have a blue one too. They were in the sale a few years ago. They haven’t done any quite the same since I think.
Theteapotsbrokenspout · 14/01/2023 16:29
Thanks for the new thread @Countmeout
I think the kaftan dress will work best for me spring / autumn, it looks really good with my green Fly London boots which I always wear with thick socks, and with or without tights depending on the weather.

Reporting In for duty ..Thanks for the new thread @Countmeout
Snowyowl78 · 14/01/2023 16:41
@lordloveadog @Stoic123 thanks! Glad to hear it’s been useful! I will try it out with a few things
AFingerofFudge · 14/01/2023 16:47
Hi everyone, thanks to @Countmeout for another thread! I am on my way home from my trip and here follows my report:
There is so much that I found appealing about the new collection. Definitely brighter and although the shop didn't have all the new stuff ( I had wanted to try the Firth Check Dress but it wasn't in stock, neither were those colourful gingham trousers)
I can't remember who asked about the brown/maroon top and I can report it is definitely more of a brown. It has a hint of cherry red about it but I'd say it's brown.
I tried on the Franca Dress and that is a winner. I'm around a size 14 these days so I tried the 14 and it was true to size. Slightly tight in the boob area for me but fitted everywhere else. Even though I'm have a bit of a body image crisis at present I actually felt nice in it and it's no.1 on my list to buy.
The weird tie jumpsuit was a surprise hit. I only tried it on because it was unusual and I tend to steer away from jumpsuits because I carry lots of weight in my stomach area but this was actually deflected rather than highlighted by the ties. It is gorgeous!
The ruffled collar check shirt was definitely true to size and was a bit snug in the medium. I didn't actually like all the ruffles but if I was going to buy it I would have had to size up to the large which I would never normally had to do.
The half placket denim shirt looked nice but didn't feel nice. It was that sort of smooth thin denim rather than sturdy and so it wouldn't be top of my list.
The new slubby cotton linen chambray shirt was simple but gorgeous, and the medium was plenty big in this. Near the top of the list
The new green Alixs were gorgeous, the cream coloured new jacket was such a nice shape, I didn't try it on as I didn't want to be tempted to buy it! The hemp skirt is extremely long so no good for 5ft 3 me!
I'll post some pictures below and if I run out of room I'll post some more tomorrow.

Thanks for the photos @AFingerofFudge
The dress in the first photo looks great on you, the jumpsuit is lovely too.
What was the sizing like on the half placket denim shirt? I’ve got one heavy denim shirt so a thinner one might be useful.
AFingerofFudge · 14/01/2023 16:58
teapot the sizing was pretty spot on, maybe slightly big. Again I tried on the 14.
Noeggsontoast · 14/01/2023 16:59
@Stravaig no worries! I discovered the brand in Australia in a very small village boutiquey type shop in the middle of nowhere. Couldn't get access to the full range back then as they didn't ship. I've made up for it since we relocated back to the UK though! Lol
@faustina oh yes I've ordered several times since Brexit. I also received a new scarf from my OH this Xmas who ordered. No issues with taxes or anything. Also stocked at Liberty but a very very limited selection.
@Saurus72 love that fair isle with that dress. I also love your boots. I've a soft spot for boots, always have - another weakness of mine.
@Countmeout thanks for the new thread.
@Theteapotsbrokenspout I think that dress looks great and the jumpsuit. Enjoying seeing the photos and hearing your feedback on sizing. Thank you
Stoic123 · 14/01/2023 17:03
@AFingerofFudge - agree that the Franca Dress should be no. 1 of the list - looks great on you.
Thanks for the sizing guidance.
faustina · 14/01/2023 17:09
@AFingerofFudge - the franca dress looks perfect on you. You know, I'm almost certain they did one a few years ago called Franca - same shape and everything. I love the chambray shirt too - perfect length!
Countmeout · 14/01/2023 17:09
@AFingerofFudge I love that jumpsuit on you.
Did you think the cream coat looked long?
AFingerofFudge · 14/01/2023 17:13
@faustina you're right, it's an old classic that has come back, they haven't done it for a few years.
AFingerofFudge · 14/01/2023 17:16
@Countmeout the coat was longer than I expected. I have a photo of it, I'll see if it'll let me upload

faustina · 14/01/2023 17:38
For all the other ticking bedlinen lovers - they have a new colour - straw! It's nice but luckily for my bank account wouldn't match my current colours
MiracleToast · 14/01/2023 18:15
@AFingerofFudge Wow, Franca dress and jumpsuit both perfect on you. Thank you so much for showing us. Top of my list now too.
Countmeout · 14/01/2023 18:19
Thanks @AFingerofFudge . It’s a coat that would go with so much but definitely will have to be sale.
