Madeleine’s definitely been happy to experiment with looks - super curly hair, very blond when she was with her first fiancé, very stripey highlights when Victoria was married….

That's a very nice portrait of the King and Queen with the P&P of Wales.
They manage to look quite relaxed and positive at what must have been such an exhausting and stressful time.

Don't tell my mother - the King has his hand in his pocket, she would probably slap his hand (she does mine!).

to continue...that he wants to make the Monarchy a little less stuffy, which for some reason they always think is a very important message to send, and more relatable. I think it’s a highly significant photograph for other reasons too. Here is the true ‘Fab Four’ (trite made up media rubbish soundbite for sure, but it does have some relevance) and the heart of the Monarchy for years to come.
