Yes I read this years ago too. She was apparently writing to her ex husband and reminiscing with him about the old days together and complaining about David.

She was very close friends and rumoured to be the lover of a very senior German officer, I forget his name but she had been spies on by the Brits and seen with this man and leaving his apartment on a few occasions

There are a lot or interesting subtleties to Wallis and Daves relationship, it’s fascinating.
I like Kate’s red coat over the mourning black today, the trousers were a great length, just missing the floor.
I also like the green CPV dress, not sure about the nude heels. I think I would have put a different bag and these Aquazurra shoes, any excuse for a pair of their beauties 😍

Would anyone else like to see Kate wearing more hats now ? Is it just me, is this really old fashioned now ? I love vintage style clothing and would love the opportunity to wear a hat more often. I thought she might take a leaf out of the late Queens book. Her hair is lovely and I wondered if that’s why she often goes without a hat to show it off as she obviously takes a lot of care and time with it, I realise she has a hairdresser to style it for official appearances of course !

Kate's coat is available now but I think £599 is a bit steep for a high street coat, especially one that isn't 100% wool.

I love the expression on both of their faces, but that little one is just gorgeous! Kate does seem so natural around children.

Some lesser known Windsors at HMQ's funeral. Marina Ogilvy really looks like photos I've seen of her namesake grandmother. Remember the scandal when she got pregnant out of wedlock? I was only in primary school at the time but remember some of the press coverage.

That's the first time I've seen Lady Davina's daughter, (or Lady Rose's), she's so pretty. Flora Ogilvy looks lovely and the Duchess of Gloucester is always elegant.
