Dress

I kinda love it but appreciate that many might think it's heinous 🤣. Have seen it on a few people on Instagram and it looks lovely. Cotton as well.

Have bought and will try on but it could go either way.

I really like it, alas it has sold out in my size.

ScurryfungeMaster · 05/05/2022 12:32

I don't think the shape is very flattering, it looks abit like a nightdress. That said, I'm all for wearing what you like, so if you like if then go for it!

Franklyfrost · 05/05/2022 12:33

Love it. Would shorten it a tiny bit as mid calf does me no favours.

Londontown12 · 05/05/2022 12:34

Love it looks vintage 😍

Tangerinedreamx · 05/05/2022 12:37

I do like but I don't think it would be very flattering. I bought a similar paisley/patchwork/floral print 70s style smock dress recently from asos which also is very similar colours. It looked lovely on the model so i bought that. On me though it wad really unflattering and frumpy looking so I think it depends on the person wearing it.

nzeire · 05/05/2022 12:39

I LOVE IT!!!
just tried ordering but no shipping to nz!

dudsville · 05/05/2022 12:40

I just bought some bedding not dissimilar to this as it reminds me of my childhood, bu I wouldn't wear it. I think it would make a fab house dress though for home days or for lounging at a villa on holiday.

EllaPaella · 05/05/2022 12:54

I love it

EllaPaella · 05/05/2022 12:55

I don't think it suits the model though. Not right for her colouring at all.

MintyCedricRidesAgain · 05/05/2022 12:59

I keep seeing these dressed and personally can't understand why a grown woman would want to look like a toddler from the 70s, but if it's your taste then go for it.

It's the style I have an issue with...the fact it's colourful and cotton and would probably be really comfortable counts in its favour if that's your thing though.

yoshiblue · 05/05/2022 12:59

Haha! I've ordered that one and waiting for it to arrive!

I've got the confidence to rock it if I like it

acatcalledjohn · 05/05/2022 13:00

Do you remember the printed glassware of the 70s? My great aunt had a set in essentially that dress' print.

Much like this.

fuzzwuss · 05/05/2022 13:00

I love the print (although I might be influenced by the fact that it is very similar to the one my first and favourite party dress had in the early 80s!) Not sure the cut will be very flattering, but you could get it taken in on the sides if it sticks out too much. I'm on team "yes".

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 05/05/2022 13:01

nay- looks like what my mum wore when pregnant in the early 80s

I'm sure my dear old grandad had a Pyrex set in that print. Used to make a lovely rice pudding in it

FrancescaContini · 05/05/2022 13:03

Nay
We had duvet covers like this c. 1974

Riverlee · 05/05/2022 13:05

Love it!

Zilla1 · 05/05/2022 13:05

As with everything, palette and cut won't suit everyone though I suspect the palette wouldn't suit many in this case. Love floral prints but, palette aside, that design isn't as pleasing as it might be.

Good luck.

Zilla1 · 05/05/2022 13:06

Have seen the glass ware and the pyrex cookware. The palette is reminiscent of cutting edge 1960s office productivity psychology.

I have no issue with the pattern but the style would make the vast majority of people look like a sack of spuds.

I have no issue with the style but the pattern is a bit loud (although I have just bought this , so who am I criticise?

I love it! The smock kinda cut would be ok for me but not the extra volumes on the sleeves.
I think it's fab though.

Lovinglife45 · 05/05/2022 13:25

It is a no from me!

Looks rather shapeless and a bit on the frumpy side.

FlibbertyGibbitt · 05/05/2022 13:26

It’s a no from me too

FAQs · 05/05/2022 13:28

It looks like maternity wear from the set of Call The Midwife. Although I bet some people could pull it off.

PorkPieForStarters · 05/05/2022 13:28

Ignore the haters, I'm all for people dressing in what makes them happy. If you like it, go for it!
