Anyhoooo.. here are some white jeans I got from Next for the summer (when it finally arrives) and some gorgeous sandals from New Look which go perfectly with nearly all my summer dresses.

Hi all I fell off the old thread but will try and post a bit more.

I find it soooo much easier to get dressed now it’s not super cold & I don’t have to dress for WFH in my freezing house!

Today:

Dress Oliver Bonas, Jumper Joules, Trainers Hogan - all second hand

I’m not sure about the dress. I find these girly floral dresses can look a bit frumpy/mumsy on me (sorry I know those words are frowned upon on MN, but you know what I mean!). I like the look on others but I just want to crawl back into my jeans!!

I’m still doing a lot of charity shopping but my favourite shop seems to have had a massive price hike recently which has put me off buying quite a few things - surely not great for the charity?!

Still watching all you glam ladies!

@Littlemissprosecco I have limited space for clothes so I am constantly selling stuff on on Vinted.

Browsing charity shops & Vinted is one of my hobbies. I buy loads (over 95% second hand) but anything I don’t love is very quickly sold on or re-donated back to charity.

I can justify buying so much as I can (normally) get about the price I paid for an item in a charity shop back on Vinted.

I don’t buy with the aim of reselling, but if I wear an item and dont love it I sell it on

I bought a few bits over the last month and I really don’t need anything. Going to try and really not buy anything. I tried all of my bikinis on to make sure they’ll be ok for our summer holiday and they are.

I recently bought some brand new Nike blazers from Vinted. I love them!

@EllaPaella I love the white jeans! I love all mine and wear them lots as long as it's not raining @OublietteBravo and @Softpebbles . Yiu can just spot clean, I only wash jeans after about 10 wears and my dogs are super grubby

Failed purchases now so been looking for some summer blouses which I'm clearly failing at!

White puff short sleeved from Next the sleeves are really tight like abnormally so.

Linen blouse from Boden wrong shape for me look at the difference tucking in the collar makes and I'm realising I'm better in less stiff fabrics

Finally what on earth do I wear to a business casual but more at the smart end of the scale dinner? I'm thinking of taking both these dresses and deciding on the night.

Like the outfit @KiteflyingKitty that doesn't look frumpy I know what you mean I've noticed the same I think the styling of them makes all the difference.

I pack away seasonal items and hang up as much as I can so it doesn't get creased, at the moment I appear to not have enough of the right kind of clothes! I think I've been terrible in the past for buying in the sales something that kind of worked rather than purchasing to fit in with what I already have or to fill a gap.

I also used to get given a lot of clothes which is obviously great but means a lot didn't coordinate or quite fit but I kept it anyway.

So I'm gradually getting rid of it all.

@Sickoffamilydrama - whilst I absolutely love that Phase Eight dress, and it’s certainly appropriate - I think it’s overly safe. And the red dress is just beautiful. So wear that one!

@Chrispackhamspoodle I am a 6.5 and the 6.5 is brilliant. Perhaps a tiny bit big however not enough to size down.
