Defo the red dress @Sickoffamilydrama ! Love it. WFH today after a hellish day in the office yesterday - ah well, rough with the smooth and all that! Wearing velvet harem pants from Anthropologie and a white top from All Saints. Put on the Terry de Havilland heels for no reason other than to cheer myself up!

Hello! I’m currently on a train heading North to see my parents and siblings for the first time since last summer. A bit of an impromptu trip - having worked all through last weekend I’m pretending today is the bank holiday.

@IvorCutler I feel the same re peri menopause- did you know though that in an effort to make more oestrogen your body actively stores more fat round the middle? ( some oestrogen is made in fat cells). So don't feel bad - it's your hormones not you!

Things that have helped me:

1. good HRT
2. 80% of the time being low carb / high fat. Carbs from veggies mainly and very little sugar.
3. dressing for my new shape

@IvorCutler I don't think we would go but the new website does remove a lot of the enjoyment. And if you google Harvey Nichols black leather Birkenstock but don't faint or hate me I haven't mentioned the cost to DH. It is absurd but oh my gosh I love them and they are so comfortable and I know I will gets lots of wear out of them for years
