Pretty warm here today - I'm dragging out my Bermuda dresses - I worked there for 10 years but have been back longer than that so they are old. And shorter than I would wear out.

I have always worn shirts too @OublietteBravo only time I'm slightly uncomfortable in them is when you sit down and they ride up but they do that for everyone.

Your legs look fine no real cellulite & tonned @Rollerbird and way more tanned than mine, I just have to accept that I'm pale and there's no changing it but I do get envious as my whole family is olive skinned except me!

@HuntingoftheSnark you should wear that dress out it suits you

Another day of sitting trying to entertain myself and DS at DD swimming gala. The work that champions put in must be huge she trains a few hours four times a week and isn't anywhere near the top,but it keeps her fit and healthy.

I’ve decided it is shorts weather today - even though I’m not on holiday! So far I’ve only been as far as Lidl in them.

@Sickoffamilydrama @Rollerbird and @OublietteBravo thank you so much. I'm only going to Sainsbury's but I have that fear of the thread about "what I think I look like versus the reality". I bought a leather jacket and didn't wear it for a year because of the Suzi Quatro's fat nan comment!

@OublietteBravo I know what you mean about wearing shorts, I do feel more self conscious wearing them in the UK than I do on a Mediterranean beach holiday. I also feel the cold so for me it's rarely hot enough here to make it something I do often, so it feels like more of a "thing". You look fabulous in yours and I definitely think you should venture further than Lidl in them!

Feel similar about shorter dresses - I used to wear them all the time but I really like the current midi and maxi styles. There are so many nice ones to choose from nowadays that I've got out of the habit of wearing shorter. But the current heatwave has made me feel a bit bolder and I've got my linen H&M dress out - feels appropriate for the glorious sunshine.

I've bought third pair of linen blend shorts from Uniqlo, they are so cheap and so comfy. Wearing them with silk blend blouse from Sezane today.
We have a public holiday today (Marine Day), and the weather is really nice, but it's getting too hot again. 😩

We are predicted hot hot hot (23 to 28 today) so in a white summer dress

Today is a linen day. It's funny how I wouldn't choose this normally, but when it's a million degrees, shapeless linen is the way to go!

Really hot, but probably hotter tomorrow. I decided that coming into the office was an essential journey - I’d rather be here with air con than trying to WFH without. But even so I’ve gone for loose and floaty clothing.
