Sorry to everyone with menopause struggles. Wondering if I’m peri as struggle to concentrate a lot, have put on weight around my middle and am moody quite often. I’m 40.

Yes agree with @KiteflyingKitty (& nice green top Kite) it's nice enough @EllaPaella but especially if you aren't feeling it then it's not right for you, could it be to big?

Although I'm not exactly the paragon of fashion today so don't listen to me 😉 DD was feeling rough last night and backwards and forwards to tell me all night so had not DS & DD off school today so shattered.

Office today - more meetings. Weather horrible here, hope it clears up PurplecatDog is not impressed, lol. Jumpsuit is an impulse buy from Thread. It’s Great Plains. Vivienne Westwood scarf was a present. Big meeting today is via Teams so only the top half is seen - yay. Boots are Jigsaw.

It’s another cold grey day. Grr. It’s also DHs birthday and I haven’t got him a present. First time ever. big fail.

@EllaPaella I like the blouse but if you're not 100% I would return it. You've got some beautiful tops so would you find yourself reaching for one the others every time?

I find this weather really hard to dress for - not warm enough for bare legs (for me anyway!) but feels too spring like for tights 🤔

Same M&S jeans as yesterday, and charity shop top (label says Avon, I'm not sure if that's the same brand as the make up??)

Really interesting to read everyone's comments on peri menopause. @KiteflyingKitty you pretty much summed up how I feel a lot of the time - brain fog! - so I wonder whether I'm in the zone. I haven't had a period since having my first coil fitted 10 years ago, so it's hard to know what's going on.

@EllaPaella nice enough blouse but don’t think - yay. If unsure I’d take back.

@KiteflyingKitty the striped dress is amazing on you. The back print is nice but not amazing and I'm sorry but I don't like the blue. Don't worry about turning 40, honest. I had DD age 41!

people, I have a question. Going out for dinner on Saturday evening. What do I wear? I feel like I have no idea what people wear in the evening to a smart but not pretentiously so restaurant. It's for DHs birthday so feel I need to make a effort. What do you wear 'out'?

@Sooverthemill - in these post-covid times there seem to be no rules. You can go out in loungewear or you can really dress up. Although no one seems to wear heels anymore. I expect people are probably wearing trainers under their ballgowns.

It is raining today, so my office wear has veered away from summery.
