Went in today and saw all the new active stuff stuff - lots of stuff copied from sweaty Betty and seems good quality .

Also some nice sweatshirts very clearly hush copy great quality feel.

Just purchased my second short quilted light puffa jacket which always is complimented .

Also love the wide leg joggers ( posted about these before)

Overall impressed and bought a fair bit !

Anyone else had much success??

This bag is very Sweaty Betty!

Trolleedollee · 19/02/2022 09:18

Totally agree. It’s my current go to shop,

Brilliant jeans including fabulous Autograph ones

Lovely cotton blouses

Dresses come in 3 lengths. I only buy plain but they fit beautifully and are excellent quality

Brilliant trainers which I keep being asked of they are Air & Grace

Wide legged joggers / trousers for £15. Wash brilliantly and fit beautifully

ZittiEBuoni · 19/02/2022 09:20

I absolutely love their Goodmove range, get all my running gear there.

I'm also hoping for a good spring/summer range - got some fab stuff last year and of course they are excellent for jeans.

I sometimes feel like M&S last cheerleader on mn, nice to find some other fans Grin. They're not perfect but who is?

userxx · 19/02/2022 09:26

Have you got a link for the wide leg joggers? I managed to grab some of the midi dresses in the sale and they are great quality and a really nice fit. M&S has definitely changed over the years, unless it's me getting older!

Ponks · 19/02/2022 09:34

I got a great pair of hiker style boots recently . Really like the Goodmove range too.

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 19/02/2022 09:37

I really like the good move range too.

Always buy jeans, pyjamas, lounge wear from there too

ThreeKneeRepeater · 19/02/2022 09:38

I like a lot of the Goodmove stuff, but I have found it to be really poorly fitting on me and badly made, with threads pulling out of the leggings.
I’m not confident the seams won’t split in use. I know they are a lot cheaper than SB, but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Leafy1986 · 19/02/2022 09:39

I bought a pair of lovely wide leg jeans, that are actually a proper wide leg, rather than vaguely loose like other brands - I love them!

I got some tan hikers back in November, they were very Grenson-like and only something like £59. I've worn them a lot, they were comfortable straight away with no breaking in.
PolkaSpace · 19/02/2022 09:42

Ooh yes that does look nice. Thank you.

toastfiend · 19/02/2022 09:43

I'm so impressed with M&S at the moment. A huge proportion of my wardrobe seems to come from them now.

I'm noticing lots of Me+Em type styles, too. Really nice stuff and it seems very affordable these days as well. I used to think M&S was overpriced frumpiness, it's the total opposite now. Whoever has overhauled their clothes offering and whoever is now doing their social media deserve medals!

I've spotted some walking boots on the link OP posted. Look great and a good price.
Lottapianos · 19/02/2022 09:43

I love M&S. Yes, there's always plenty of absolute horrors but plenty of good stuff too. I have 2 pairs of GoodMove leggings - they're great, only complaint is that they come up v small. Im normally a 10 but had to get them in a 14. Also wish they did some good quality vest tops rather than just t shirt style

Toanewstart23 · 19/02/2022 09:50

Goodness

Has marks advertising budget been slashed and they have to resort to this kind of thing?!

AmbushedByCake1 · 19/02/2022 09:59

My problem with M&S is the quality is often poor. I bought a couple of merino wool jumpers and the arms came apart after one wear. Makes me reluctant to buy anything else!

userxx · 19/02/2022 10:00

I ordered a pair in khaki last night! If a good fit, I'll be buying the black ones.

Juno22 · 19/02/2022 10:11

I love the Goodmove stuff.

Lots of nice things in M&S at the moment.

Surely this thread need #ad in the heading. Hmm

Surely this thread need #ad in the heading. Hmm
Why are so many people on this board obsessed with ad hunting? If someone so much as whispers the hint of a brand name someone will race to the thread within the first page to accuse them of being planted by the company. It's style and beauty, of course people are going to chat about brands they like, especially when the brand in question has been so utterly woeful until recently and has had a significant overhaul. It's really killing the mood of the board, and as someone who has been (incorrectly) accused on here in the past, it's a crap feeling.
Juno22 · 19/02/2022 10:21

Toastfiend well said. I was enjoying this thread....

I agree! I went off them for a couple of years where they really seemed to have lost the plot, but I have really liked their recent offerings.

These “office loungewear” trouser are great.

And I got gorgeous boots in the sale - a pair in black and another in cream - like DMs but soft, and instantly comfortable. I would happily have paid 4 times the price.

The only thing I have been disappointed in was leather jackets. I ordered 2 but they were each quite stiff and also strangely short and tight in the sleeves. However, customer services were great when the return went missing. I just messaged them and they immediately refunded.
