Levi’s - wash every 10 wears??

The Levi website suggest only washing their jeans every 10 wears!? I wash mine after 2!!! How often do you wash yours?

Every two or three - more because they go out of shape than because they are properly dirty though.

I hardly ever wash jeans. If they get marked I spot clean them, I air them after wearing and I stick them in the freezer after a few wears, but they go months without seeing the inside of the machine. When they do it's inside out and on the shortest, coolest wash I have.

What do you think is going to happen to them if you wash them ? I wash our Levi's all the time and they are fine !🤷‍♀️

Every 1-2 years, maybe less. Basically as little as possible.

I wash my jeans every second or third wear.

The tops of your inside legs have sweat glands the same as armpits. These smell when bacteria gets to sweat.

Plus a little bit of wee may leak into your undies and they are right next to your jeans so I presume that transfer of smell will make them smell too.

So I wash my jeans so I don’t smell. I do a sniff test on day two to see if day three is an option!

And I wash them to keep them clean too!

Every 2 or 3 wears. Young kids. I need to get the snot off.

Around every 4 wears otherwise the crotch gets a bit sweaty! This isn't a new concept though. Most of the £100+ brands say the same.

I hardly ever wash jeans! I’m fussy about jeans and get mine from places like Hiut and Nudie - they recommend wearing for as long as possible without washing when you first get them and then washing infrequently.

My crotch doesn't smell. I shower every day.

Christ I read that as 10 years!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I wash after a few, maybe 5 or 6 wears, as they are lovely and soft after a couple wears and stiff after washing

I air my clothes after wearing (as per my post); I also wash properly and regularly with hot water and soap, and wear clean underwear. Most people I know do likewise.

I also rarely wash my cashmere sweaters, although probably slightly more often than the jeans .

Depends but probably after about 12 to 15 wears. I don't really keep count of how many times I wear them but wash them if I spill something on them or if I think they need washing.

I will often smell them to check they are ok.

I know you are not meant to wash them very often. Like another poster, when I do wash them I do a quick wash at 30 degrees and turn them inside out

After every wear is bananas imo. I easily get 5+ wears out of mine.

I wash DH’s Levi’s after 5/6 wears.
I hate the smell of well/worn stale clothes.

But my Levi's go out of shape if I don't wash them every 3/4 times

Who knew they were washable?

I just stand mine up in the corner of the kitchen.

It's ideal as they seem to attract the flies away from the food preparation area.
