I know this isn't a good angle but is the outfit that bad?

If that’s the height of style then we are a ridiculous breed indeed. I have nothing against ridiculous…wear whatever you like imo…but yeah, fashion is asinine. What a get up.

It's oversized in the right places (not just baggy and I'll fitting)
Nothing about this ‘influencer’s’ outfit fits her silhouette. Jacket is wide and short in length, shoulders are too broad, sleeves too short.
It is not stylishly oversized. It is the wrong size.

The colours work together, they're similar tones
The jeans are very pale blue and the jacket is medium brown. Not the same tones at all.
They don’t look bad together but not great either.

The materials are heavy and luxurious
They look well pressed I’ll give you that.

The 'influencer's' jacket and trousers are awful together IMO. The jacket hits the trousers in the wrong place and the trousers are too short. The shoes are dreadful in combination with the rest of the outfit.

The jumper is ill fitting but the rest of it looks done. If you went down a size in the sweater I think it would look great. Also not sure about the footwear I think I would go with brogues or penny loafers with that

That "influencer" looks like she's stuck her head in one of those seaside photo prop things. Where you become the head on a 1920s bathing lady.
The whole outfit swamps her and looks, well, stupid really!

It's WAY more stylish than I'd wear casually. For me, if you like it and you feel and look confident in it, then you'll look awesome 🤷‍♀️

To me it's very neutral. I quite like the colour palette, and the jumper and jacket individually. As a total look it's completely inoffensive but I would feel invisible in it. I'd want to add some colourful accessory to jazz it up a bit.

It's not awful.. It's just not doing anything for you. Whoever said it was awful is bloody rude.. But I think it's just swamping you.

That influencer's outfit is bizarre. The top half looks like she's playing dress up in her grandad's wardrobe and the bottom galf looks like a year 10 boy circa 2001 whose school is doing Jeans for Genes day but they all still have to wear uniform shoes.

It's not a great outfit. It's very busy for something that's so seemingly casual. I wouldn't wear it, and if a friend or family member was wearing it and asked my opinion I'd recommend some changes to make it look nicer.
If your partner doesn't comment on your clothes usually, and especially not negatively then it shows that this is out of what you would usually wear. I wouldn't be offended or dump him for it though.
