You have to choose ONE shop to buy clothes from, for the rest of your life...which shop are you choosing?

It has to be a stand-alone brand, so no asos or zalando type choices.

Mine is a close call between Cos and Uniqlo. I really like that monochromatic, vaguely Japanese, minimalist but striking look. I only rarely achieve it though.

It'll have to be Uniqlo, I don't really have a Cos lifestyle I don't think. I find the clothes aspirational though.

So what are you going for?

Whistles.

Next

Great tall range

Other Stories

POPGoesTheBandit · 25/09/2021 00:23

Killstar or disturbia

PersonaNonGarter · 25/09/2021 00:35

APC or maybe Margaret Howell.

Not sure if either of them sell pants though so I may regret that quite quickly…

TonyThreePies · 25/09/2021 00:37

Oasis. I am grieving the loss of their high street stores but just about coping with their online presence and Ebay.

middlingmess · 25/09/2021 00:38

If I was thin and French and gorgeous:
Sezane
But I can't justify the cost when I don't end up looking like the photos of the models in their clothes.

WormYourHonour · 25/09/2021 00:39

F&F so I can get some milk with me pants. Grin

Babamamananarama · 25/09/2021 00:39

I would like to say Sézane but I live in the deep countryside and need practical warm clothes that are preferably waterproof sooooo

FizzyPink · 25/09/2021 00:39

Zara. I would say 80% of my wardrobe right now is from there anyway

TheChip · 25/09/2021 00:40

Next. Great petite range and great clearance sales alllllllll of the time. I dont think I've ever bought my clothes full price from there

Winecheesesleep · 25/09/2021 00:41

Mountain Warehouse

SignOnTheWindow · 25/09/2021 00:44

Uniqlo for me, too.

timeisnotaline · 25/09/2021 00:47

Whistles too I think since I can’t afford to pick a more designer brand (might be Joseph?). Love cos but couldn’t do it all the time, sometimes I need a frill! Sezane would leave me pretty short on gardening clothes or ‘activewear’

Monty27 · 25/09/2021 00:50

Charity shop 🙂

thirstyformore · 25/09/2021 00:50

Whistles for me as well. Nice mix of casual and more dressy items. Well cut, decent quality, nod to fashion without being "fashionable".

AnnieSnap · 25/09/2021 00:50

If I really had to choose just one, it would be & Other Stories, but I’d pine for a couple of others!

SarahDippity · 25/09/2021 00:53

Next. Uniqlo I like the look of, but everything just looks very underwhelming on me. At least with Next there is some colour and variety. And affordability. Petite and curvy here.

Dryadia · 25/09/2021 00:53

Holy Clothing, but only the Boohoo styles.

KimDeals · 25/09/2021 00:57

I think, the Kooples ? Oh it’s tough.

Pinkchicken85 · 25/09/2021 01:01

M&S

Sezane is soooo great. Absolutely adore (especially shoes) but I'm not sure I could manage a whole wardrobe
SoloISland · 25/09/2021 01:39

Charity shop 🙂
You stole my thunder! Although being housebound even that is out

The last such thing I bought was via Amazon... or was it ebay.
