I have worn M&S bikini multipack knickers for donkeys years and they were brilliant. Comfy, no riding up, covered your bum properly, great value

Well of course they've had to piss about with them and now they have stupid lacy edging which literally falls to bits after one wash. Maddening. I bought some Next low rise shorts today (no bikinis in my size) and have tried them on at home. They are utter shit, and will be right up my bum after 5 mins. It's enough to make you scream

Can anyone recommend decent, bikini style, comfy knickers that stay put and don't ride up or fall down or otherwise drive you mad? Willing to pay what it takes at this stage. Ta!

Could try sloggi?

WorryMcGee · 04/09/2021 17:24

I love Runderwear! Initially I bought them for what they’re advertised for…running 😂 but then I loved them so much I threw out my ancient M&S ones and they’re all I wear now! I like the full briefs and the hipster ones. There’s always a discount code somewhere online.

CaramelWaferAndTea · 04/09/2021 17:24

John Lewis. Made the same switch...

Blufandango · 04/09/2021 17:26

Sainsbury's knickers are like Marks and Spencer from days of old, but better. I don't wear the same style as you but I would guess they'll be the same in all styles

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/09/2021 17:28

I’m wearing Sainsburys.

Cuddlywaterfall · 04/09/2021 17:30

Another vote for Sainsbury's

Dilbertian · 04/09/2021 17:31

Costco

The label says "it-se-bit-se" (dreadful name, but very good knickers).

Lottapianos · 04/09/2021 17:39

Sainsburys is a good shout, thanks people 👍

I thought I’d add Sainsbury’s here too. Like M&S knickers when they were good.

SirChenjins · 04/09/2021 17:42

Sainsbury’s here too

escapeyou · 04/09/2021 18:02

Primark. Don’t knock them but go for a look. I wouldn’t get pants anywhere else now. That and socks.

Oddbutnotodd · 04/09/2021 18:04

Sainsbury’s

santabetterwashhishands · 04/09/2021 18:05

Sainsbury's or primark are my preference

LondonTTC · 04/09/2021 18:07

The m&s 'high leg' multipack ones are good. No lace, 100% cotton and stay put on my bum :)

HermioneGrunger · 04/09/2021 18:13

I'd rather go commando than wear anything other than Sainsburys full pants.

rosesarered321 · 04/09/2021 18:22

Sainsburys for me too!

NotGCTUR · 04/09/2021 18:23

Innersey on Amazon and Reebok on ASOS

Ivy48 · 04/09/2021 18:25

Avoid Sainsburys, I find the do
Exactly the same and the elastic separates after a few wears. I’m also on the look out after finding Sainsburys/M&S ones aren’t the same recently

iamjustlurking · 04/09/2021 18:34

Asda high leg (they are not) lace top knickers they are the best most comfortable knickers ever snd you can size down and still get full bum coverage

whatisheupto · 04/09/2021 18:37

I'm with you OP. Never bought anywhere other than M and S before now! But they have changed so much... the material feels thin and cheap and I'm sure the gusset is 2 or 3cm narrower these days... I also hate the frilly edges.
I've just bought some Wirapara ones on Amazon after a recommendation on here but I'm finding them a bit too thick and 'substantial'!

IntermittentParps · 04/09/2021 18:39

I like Gap, the plain bikini kind with no lace, made of cotton. I wait until they go sale or on multi buy.

Boiledeggandtoast · 04/09/2021 18:41

Another Sainsbury's devotee.

LookdeepintotheParka · 04/09/2021 18:45

Where did I go wrong with Sainsbury's? I found them so uncomfortable I had to throw the pack away!

Primark multipacks of 3 pairs are amazingly comfortable but I've been back several times for some more this year and they never have my size in stock!!

ufucoffee · 04/09/2021 18:48

Sloggi are great but very expensive.

RandomMess · 04/09/2021 18:58

GAP breathe range.
