Excellent, I’ve been reported Hmm

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 28/05/2021 15:31

Basically I said the same as @LarkLaneLove

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 28/05/2021 15:33

She’s also done a podcast about the maintenance shag on ‘the hotbed’. She puts her own sex life into the public domain.

@BalladOfBarryAndFreda Sali and her minions will be getting repetitive strain injury this afternoon reporting every comment that could be perceived to be anything but 100% complimentary

Serpenta · 28/05/2021 15:54

Trolling in mind mind would be 'hate that b**ch, she looks like shit' whereas this thread has been made up of of people who've liked her new look, people who've disliked it, and people who are a bit bemused by it.

But that's going to happen if a journalist/influencer with a significant profile writes such an article. Especially in a publication like Vogue.

No, you've used a word or phrase on an "automatic hide" list. Mentioning certain websites cause this as do racist terms and certain spam type phrases.

Well done for her for taking such a brave step

What is brave about dying your hair?

I’m only here because I thought I’ll bleach my hair in the lockdown haze, but I realise that if it’s too high maintenance for a beauty writer and influencer than I have no chance at all.

So, thank you, Sali Hughes. You saved me a lot of bother.

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 28/05/2021 16:34

@SoupDragon, I linked to acast, the podcast platform Hmm

All natural. When I turned 60 I stopped dyeing it and cut it very short, let it grow out naturally. The pic (and I did really need a wash) was taken last year. Since then I’ve let it grow to past shoulder length - can’t decide whether to keep it long or get it cut again. Every time I think I’ll get it cut there’s another lockdown...[/quote]
Could you be bothered to put up a pic of how it is now?

That’s all very enlightening @LarkLaneLove

sansucre · 28/05/2021 17:08

I think she looks great with grey hair, however the style does not work and she needs to soften her brows too. But it is so much better than her dyed brown hair which was too solid in colour and looked dreadfully wig-y.

I'm actually doing the same as Sally. I got tired of maintaining my roots and lockdown gave me the perfect opportunity to stop dying. Am much happier now the white has come in, it's been easier to embrace it and am glad to have escaped the tyranny of having to do my roots every six weeks.

OwlIsBeingAnOwl · 28/05/2021 17:08

She has also been dishonest about her use of Botox and other "tweakments".

I wonder if this is the same poster who pops up with this stuff on every thread mentioning Sali to the point where they then need to be deleted because it becomes a pile-on with a lot of unsubstantiated stuff? I don't have strong opinions on Sali either way but I have read quite a lot of her Graun columns. She definitely was open about having Botox on at least one of those. Has she now said she hasn't?

I've seen a few Insta posts and videos where she lists things she's paid for, so I assume you're saying she's lying about that. I wouldn't know either way, but I wouldn't have a clue about speculating on what someone has or hasn't paid for unless I'd seen transactions.

Can you link to where she stated she'd never do any paid partnerships? That seems odd to me but happy to be corrected.

sansucre · 28/05/2021 17:09

Sorry Sali, I didn't catch the autocarrot in time!

So you’ve dyed yours like she has?
