Has anyone bought from Chanel at Selfridges Manchester Exchange?

I'm threatening to buy a 2.55 Reissue

My nearest stockist is Manchester Selfridges Exchange Square. Has anyone bought there recently? (lockdown notwithstanding) What was your experience?

If anyone has opinions on the 2.55 itself I'd be glad to hear them too

And what size/colour is your jypsiere? Really lovely choice!

I have a big birthday this year & am going to treat myself to a watch. Plus you have plenty of colour going on in my opinion - black, navy, red & grey - perfect!
@Wagsandclaws your 19 is lovely. I'm so drawn to a navy bag. I'm currently trying to ignore a navy Loewe puzzle bag which is calling to me, despite being completely wrong for my current lifestyle!

I second all the handbag spa recommendations- I've used them three times for my balenciaga bags (terrible for fading!) & they've been v good. I'm down south so used their courier service. I would say they've hiked their prices a bit recently tho, I was a bit shocked at the last quote - but they are good.

Oooh @MrsCalypsoGrant don't tempt me haha .. I have narrowed my choice to a Chopard Happy Diamond sport or a J12 but I think I want the white one.. I'm going to try and find some time to go into Harrods to try them on as so far I'm just going by pictures & don't know what I want in terms of the dial (diamonds etc!)
Knowing me I'll end up not being able to decide and so getting neither!!

Thanks for the hand bag spa recommendations, I'll take a look. It's just a great bag and has carried all kinds of kids crap and still looks smart for work. Or at least it smartens up my jeans which I wear when I visit the office now!

@MummyJ12 How fabulous was Karl. I love the fact that he came second in the first ever fashion design competition he entered, runner up to some other young chap no-one had heard of at the time called Yves Saint Laurent

Thanks for the recs on 2nd hand. Sadly after many years selling on vestiaire I have just closed my account as the customer service was so poor and the commission just too high to justify the effort involved in selling. So now can’t buy on there either!

@fruitandflowers also have a look at designerwishbags (in Belgium I think but ships worldwide) and npnbags (in the UK small stock but has very good reviews). Obviously check authenticity with an independent company if you decide to buy. Enjoy shopping!

Virginie Viard is doing a great job at Chanel, Karl chose her as his successor so I know he approved of her too, but he is so missed xx
