How much would you spend on a handbag?

I'm about to spend £250 on a bag and it's more than I've spent on one single item ever before. I keep putting it off but I can't stop thinking about this damn bag.

I went for it! Haven’t ever spent more than £50 on a handbag and the last one I bought was from Oliver Bonas about 4 years ago.

I love all the internal pockets. I have two children- one a baby in nappies so I love that I can use this as a multipurpose bag but that it’s nice enough for when I’m back commuting to London.
It looks like it’d easily hold a pair of heels whilst I travel in trainers, a book, flask, lunch etc

Can’t wait for it to arrive!

I've spent 300gpb on a black leather handbag for work. Big enough for an A4 notebook and ipad. I've had it 5 years, still going strong and make me feel really put together when I use it. 100% worth it

The black camera bag is nice but the zip is sooooo stiff you have to yank with both hands. I emailed Aspinall and they came back with a bullshit, unhelpful answer. I won't be keeping it. I can get better quality for that money. Disappointing

The other one is lovely but the colour is different in the flesh. I'm gonna try it against some clothes to see whether I like it.

I've just popped in to say my bag arrived and sat on the side for over a week because I had no where to go with it but it went out on its maiden voyage yesterday and all the internal pockets made going shopping easier in my head

In fact I love it so much I'm considering the smaller version in black!

@lightlypoached yes! We had a day of appointments at the hospital last week (all routine and fine) and I packed so much stuff in it. I got some buggy clips and attached it to the pushchair! It was great to have everything organised and also the pushchair basket free for other stuff as well.

@lightlypoached I'd be disappointed with that too. Poor customer service really annoys me. I'm glad the other bag was a keeper though! Have you taken it out anywhere yet?
