The sizing is really mad. My burgundy shirt dress is an 8. No way am I an 8 but the 12 was huge, the 10 still big and the 8 is fine,

I am STILL waiting for Toast to confirm my order of the Elena shirt.. let along dispatch!! Angry.. According to chat line the other day they were re-sending email/ (which is your invoice they say) , but its still not arrived ( even though I also gave them an alternative email address JIC ) They have taken my £165 pronto though!.. tried calling them today , couldn't get through, and have now emailed n but no response yet..
Really fed up with them ..

Id like to order the navy trainers , but really? when they cannot seem to do the most basic of customer service things? I cannot believe that after being s good all through last years difficulties that they have lost the plot now ..

At least JL have some stuff..

I dont want to moan, I love Toast stuff.. I just want to keep loving it and them as a company to deal with, but they sure are making it hard for me to love them atm 😔

Delivery was awfully slow. I’d like to know how it goes if you need to return something. Do you still get a paid return. I would not be impressed if refunds were slow either.
I am back in the JL fold thank goodness. It’s often easier to order from them but they don’t have everything.

I returned most of an order well over a week ago @Countmeout, and have heard nothing. That seems longer than usual, they are normally very quick to process returns. The return was free though - filled in a form online, was sent a qr code which I brought to the post office, they printed a label there, and that was it. Will report back when I get the refund (or even just a notification that the return has been received).

Hello there lovely Toastistas. Well. I’m not impressed with this new system. Ok, it was a double bank holiday but I ordered last Friday and they took the money Tues and nothing else has changed since. Seriously unimpressed.

These reviews are terrible it really puts me off, am tempted to only buy from JL or eBay as for the prices Toast charge you do not expect this level of hassle/ poor customer service.. dreadful for so many loyal Toast customers

Absolutely agree, Applecatchers. Ive had swift service in the past, even through the first lockdown. This is not good - I appreciate there are delays but taking the money whilst the order is still recorded as “unfulfilled” is not a good look. Makes me wonder what’ll happen if I need to change for a different size - I’d not be motivated to purchase if an exchange is going to be as slow.

I ordered last Thursday night and my parcel arrived yesterday, so a week including Easter. I generally think a week is fine. I'm not desperate for a faster service. But will now be testing out the returns as I won't be keeping it all.

I messaged and they said they’re dispatching up to ten days after order due to the current changeover in systems. Hopefully a shorter term issue.

Yes I got an acknowledgment of order and despatch confirmation. Just deciding what to send back now....bought 2 pairs of trousers and one jumpsuit. Am keeping the jumpsuit but will send back at least one pair of trousers. The 'pear' coloured cotton twill side button trousers were too 'baby poo' coloured for me but I loved the style!

Hello all. Been following for a while - this is my first post. I think deliveries are getting back to normal - I ordered Thursday afternoon, got a dispatch email Friday afternoon, and delivery is scheduled for Monday. I’ve ordered the ecru Annies, a woven belt, the boiled wool sweater and cardigan, and the Emily Nixon silver hoops. Hoping they will make a nice Spring capsule if they suit me/fit me.

That sounds hopeful! I got a dispatch message after my message conversation. I have the green Tala dress and some ecru pumps coming. I have my eye on a few other things although with slow delivery and the shops opening, there is competition out there!

Hello all - just popping in to say that John Lewis are doing that thing again where you book a virtual personal stylist appointment and get a discount. It's in the rewards section, except they didn't tell me, and the deadline is tomorrow! Luckily I managed to get something for this afternoon. It doesn't have to be your local shop so you can look anywhere (luckily)

I know! 10% not to be sniffed at though! I am going to buy a lovely Kin linen and cotton jacket which has just come onto the site, and perhaps a belt, except I can't find one I like - the stylist recommended one with big gold circles on it which is a bit in your face

I managed to book an appt at the Trafford JL tomorrow morning (I’m in Scotland 🙄). But in my rush to book it, didn’t put the code on the booking, so hope I still get the discount. Although tbh it was quite a fun thing to do last time anyway.

@ilovecherries - mine was in Cheadle and I'm in Suffolk! You can go in and amend the booking to add the discount

My stylist was really nice this time - if you tell them what you're after, they have the clothes ready for you to see which is quite useful
